Thanks for confirming about the incoming section part. I notices the same under incoming section in my gcms note as well, but wasn't sure to send to Passport due to lack of response from NDVO.

However once you sent your passport to NDVO did you receive any acknowledgement clearly stating that they received your passport,and did your ecas reflect any update..

pardon me if am asking too many question but your response will be of great value as i am in similar situation now but unsure whether to send my passport to NDVO or not.

No problem. We have not received any acknowledgement of passport receipt as they have the email id wrong and don't think they have it corrected in the system yet. DHL tracking, however, shows it was received. We have applied for a second set of notes last week, so let's see.

its quite strange the way NDVO operates. We submitted a case specific en query to have our email ID corrected. It was few weeks before we got a reply which was just a one liner from NDVO stating "Thank You we have Noted" thats all!!
They seem to have completely ignored the second part of en query in which we requested that the previous email to be resent to the correct email ID.

So it went straight to DM, not IP. And your GCMS notes showed eligibility status is still in progress pending final review on Jan 2nd. This was really fast! YAY!!!

I haven't been checking regularly, but I don't think my status ever changed to IP because there is not much of a gap between 7th when they started processing and today the 12th wen we got DM!

Current status:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 7, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND I WILL AWAIT THE SHINY VISA NOW!! Will post my final GCMS notes wen I receive it on Feb 2nd so our timeline may help others.
