Jan/Feb applicants!!! Did anyone contact MP to find out whats up with your files? I am a Jan applicant and it's very disheartening to know that my file is still pending for initial review!! :'(

I am in the same situation as you. I just got DM today

I sent few emails and called CIC, maybe it helped, i am not sure.

How long does it take to receive your passport once the Decision is made appear?

hey anupam.. u r sooo funny dude, seriously... do u mean..EARLIER -ONCE U COME OUT OF AN AIRPORT WITH YOUR LUGGAGE, THEY ALLOWED YOU TO GO BACK INSIDE,( IN THE REVERSE DIRECTION OF SECURITY ATTENDED GATE), AND PUT YOUR TROLLEY BACK IN MACHINE ( WHICH USHERS ON MINI VEHICLES TOW FROM ALL OVER AIRPORT AND DO ), AND GET YOUR PRECIOUS 25 CENTS BACK.( BACK FROM WHERE?). I DIDNT KNOW THEY CARED ABOUT YOUR QUARTER SO MUCH TO ALLOW U REVERSE ENTRY...I MEAN SEROIUSLY !!!!!!!!... DO U REALIZE THE DISCUSSION WAS ABOUT AIRPORTS !!.. NOT UR NEIGHBOURHOOD GROCERY STORE..... Seeing that fight for a 2$ airport cart is reminding me how much this long waiting process to get our visa is making us fight for small things... It makes me realize how much I can unecessary fight for stupip things with my hubby... When it is in fact not worthed...

So please guys... It is just an airport cart that we are taking about now... Keep cool... Just remember that when you will need this cart... It will mean that you are about to be reunited with your spouse... At this point of time ... Paying or not paying for using the cart will be your last concern... You will be just so happy to be about to jump in your spouse arms!!!

And in the worst case... Just get a suitcase with wheels...

dear let me share with you why i was making my point co clearly that.... when last time i was at pearson it got bit funny with me.. i had 5/10 dollar bills, 1 dollar coins.. but no 2 dollar coins.. i tries to look for other options but it accepted only 2 CAD coins... i even did put indian 10 rs coin in machine as it looks similar to toonie.. but it didnt work ...lolz.. so i had to fiddle to get that 2 CAD coin ( a change helper later gave me 10 CAD change).. dats why i said so.. but... having said that.. i m leaving it here.. for everyone to try n know on their own..

what does it means? Is this a definite yes?

My file was sent to visa office on Dec 2013.
Medical was done on Jan 4th.
Passport was requested in April.

Congratulations... It usually takes around a week to get the passport back

whole conversation could have ended with someone saying 'yes, akkujuly, you are right and I am wrong' instead of arguing over who is right and who is wrong ..this is third time since the day I had joined this forum to see argument over small things (first one was two groups one supporting Gulzar and the second one Myrah; next one was varun kumar claiming change of status and this one) while we are arguing over small things, people who applied in 2012 and waiting for visa are depressed over not getting any change of status

there are ways one can get one's point across without resorting to sarcasm or direct attack and it seems akkujuly has sense of humor that comes across as sarcasm or attack

Im 31 may applicant .i got ppr on 6th of august .i had submitted my two expired and one fresh passport ...total 3 .... i have not heard any thing from NDVO yet .ecas status shows ...application received and medical result recieved from 2 months..i want to know...does it mean more passport u have with your application and more processing time...when i can expect some good news ....u r senior and star member...i only hope on you to tell me something ...this waiting and waiting......killing me
..please scatter some hope of ray

hi suraj welcome to the forum can u share your timeline .... I have 5 passports and I got IP....no it has nothing to do with the number of passports....... have u stayed in any place more than 6 months other than india? and given them a pcc of that place?
