Sincerely pray to god that therz lots of IP and DM's this week... Think this is the longest stretch of period with not much of activity since the strike..! But on the brighter side every lull period was followed up by a blast of IP's and DM's...

1. yes, in the sense, if nothing else, it would boost the confidence of sponsored person.
2. yes and no. If you check 2012 forum and 2013 forums, there are cases where sponsor was allowed and there are cases where sponsor was not allowed. So, it becomes a judgement call whether to spend lots of money traveling from Canada to India only be told he/she would not be allowed to sit with sponsored person.
3. my feedback even if it is worth only two loonies

Thanks "Waiting 2 exhale". You are right, it might be worthwhile to be there... It is just a ticket and will take less than a week to travel to and back from New Delhi.

how do you do MP enquiry? My husband is in India with me right now. so is it enough to send an email to MP office or is it necessary to meet them in person?

Not for 2weeks as per cic site only two days off on christmas on
25&26(christmas&Boxing days).

Yes maximum till medical valadity.

there is no quota for spousal visas, those r estimates based on previous years. this is just pure bad luck..they got stuck at my application...got till may 15th, i'm 17th!

I think there is quota reason for delay in application
