hi gulzar and other members..
i have a query in the application form..
when i fill it for my spouse (should i have to submit additional dependants form for my wife?

please let me know if the below is enough

Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] --- done
Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] --- do i need this?
Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] -- done
Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] -- done
Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490] --done
Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] --- NA

If she doesnot have dependants then it is not necesary to fill that up...This is need base form to be filled by specific applicant..

I think that medical has not been done early but sending the Application got delayed according to my experience.

HAHAH GulzarND you may be right.. Mannat must have comfused in filling up the forms so this lead to delayed in submitting forms..

I didn't filled the forms Tenzin.I just signed it lolz.

I agree with Mickey. No need of filling up the [IMM 0008DEP] for your wife. I hope this helps.

Hi,

you dont have to do additional dependants/declaration if there is no other member other than the principal applicant whom you are going to sponsor.

Even i thought of following my hubby but i had to fill all forms as my hubby was too busy n so got delay in submitting forms also and even my forms were held up for custom clearance for 3days in US.

The letter mentions that my file was receieved 22 Feb 2013.

Nothing for us this week...I wonder in some cases people are getting AOR but there date of applying is showing up after the processing date showing up on CIC website.

Congrats! It will probably take 3-4 weeks for SA at this point of time if your application is complete!

I know, it's hard to see other applications getting AOR and approval when our's doesn't get udpated!
For some reason, some application goes faster and some doesn't.

this is definitely not a good start... there should be only one process.

where both husband and wife go in front of visa officer and marry again each other with witnesses and in case we have this new spouse law in place to stop any wrong marriage ...this will save lot of time and money....
