guys...just received my notes....eligibility passed, updated on the day it went in process.
Criminal pending and final review (updated one week after in process).....not sure how long its going to take. Also I see RFV checks not sure what that is....

Facts from my observation :
E case changes to in process when review is completed by second officer and only if eligibility is passed. (if its recommended passed then only its reviewed by the first officer)
after in process usually its faster if spouse has no travel history..in my case my wife has travel history...my guess is that's the reason its taking longer time, again it depends on case to case.
Medicals expiry date is not the date when you took it...its the date when NDVO receives it...example we took medicals in the last week of Dec 2012 and the expiry date is the last week of Jan 2013.

One of my friend's cousin application went into IN PROCESS .... She is a May 15 applicant ...

Hi all!! I got a mail from Delhi immigration asking for additional documents...I had a previous marriage so asking for divorce certificate, post marriage communication with spouse and some more marriage pics....

Hey waiting 2 exhale... As you predicted, Here are 1 "OMG, a change in status!" and 2 "OMG!! NDVO is such a pain as we have to continue waiting and hoping for positive news!!!"

I would like to ask them, Only one IP update?!! And what about those waiting Jan-April and the few 2012? Why haven't they gotten their updates yet?
But not surprising that there were no updates again... Like Myrah said, they might be busy with student applications. :'(

At least NDVO should end the week with a dhamaka of DMs!

Thanks for sharing...RFV means ready for visa. They will check mark it if you are eligible for visa once eligibility, criminal and medical checks have been done, I think.

Exactly the same, with medical in progress and everything else is in 'Not started'. I understand we heard MAY applicants starting on Nov 9 and since I am at the end of the month for May, nothing might have happened on Nov 12. But still I hoped to hear at least "Interview waiver recommended" and relationship is genuine. Not that I am not worried about these things but hoped it would have happened by now.

Now, I will have to explain this to my wife

That is unfortunate and, I am sure, something you were not really expecting. But they might be working on your application as we speak, which might be why they are so quiet since Monday. If medicals are in process, they might be working on your eligibility as well. Don't take the GCMS to heart... And smile. I are sure you will hear some good news before the end of this month!

My medicals was in progress the moment i got sponsorship approval from CIC-M. Also it is in progress at CIC-M. Is this normal?

Hello guys just rcvd my gcms notes as I have rcvd visa and my other half is flying still wanted to give u this info so that it help u guys for something at least.

I got my last gcms on 18 oct at that time only interview waiver was recomemded and nothing else was done and on 26 oct our file went in process.

As i just see the gcms notes on 26th oct main visa officer he also waived interview and said our relation ship to be genuine and then on the same day medical was passed by the officer.

Then on 30 Oct the file was transferred for criminality to senior or some other department. That person started criminality on 4th november and on the same day he passed it as well.

There are notes saying that visa was issued on the same day and with copr on 4th November and our status was changed to dm on 8th November.

So my question is if the process is just for 20 days why do they take so long and make families suffer for it and relationships they get so much disturbed because of mess of visa thing.

So till 18 October it was in notes saying nothing else except waiver recommended by junior officer and file sent to visa officer for review and after less then 20 days we had dm So guys dont loose hopes and be positive for everything.

I knw the process is very long and really disturbing it takes hell out of each and every person but guys wish you luck and I wish all of you get visa very soon so that you all can be happy forever.

If you guys have any question or queries you can ask me up I have all the notes with me the new and the old one which had nothing on them just send me a message in my inbox and I will surely reply.

did you not give the divorce certificate when you applied? That is one of the checklist items.....

When you say your medicals were in process since sponsorship approval, do you also mean you had medicals received status on ECAS? If yes, then I believe that is normal for some of the cases. This is your third time to have applied for notes, isn't it? And it still says medical in process? Then that is odd.. It shouldn't take that long to process medicals. But maybe NDVO has made some errors in updates on their computer... Or could be a glitch . But don't worry as of yet. You still have time for the NDVO to start processing end of May applicants. Then you can get a clearer picture if something is worrisome or not... And hopefully it is not. Don't worry

thanks. one more question. I am planning to apply for my 3rd notes, as I mentioned i received my 2nd notes a week and half ago. So should i wait for a while and apply?

you can apply for notes every day but it won't help much..so it is better to wait for a month after the last notes so that you might (might not) see some change
