i have a query..
the CIC website is updated on every Tuesday, so in case of change in status to IP or DM, do they notify by email ?? Or they only update the webpage for those specific cases ?

What i want to understand is that is it a weekly update or they do it multiple times.

Ya on website its once very week...either tue or wed ...........but for the last few weeks .......we heard good news even 4times a week i.e e-cas has been updated for forum members........and they don't send any mail from ip to dm.....we just have to go check e-cas each day ...and believe maybe todays our lucky day and it chages

Well to sum up this week, apart from people who just got their passports back and the good news we got today from 2 of our friends here, this week had been very slow and quiet. No OMGs...... .....Lets hope the next week is more exciting and happier than this week. Keep smiling friends and keep ur hopes high, this time is gonna pass soon ;D :-* :-*...Cheers!!!

compared this with last week's stats(Nov 1) (see this is what happens when you provide weekly stats..people start comparing and get anxious lol) IP decreased by 2; DM increased by 11; waiting in line decreased by 6; waiting for ppr unchanged; interview increased by 4...it looks like it has been a slow week (depends on how you look at it..glass half-full or half-empty or at least glass is not broken or glass, what glass, I don't see one; does it really matter whether glass is full or not?)

Please let me know one thing I m working in a city og india and my organization is anning ne to shift different city in India only
Will it impact the process???

no it wont make difference as long as your parents still at your old address.....most communication with ndvo is thru email....and if they send u a mail then someone shld be there at home to receive it...and they can inform u........
is 6th nov aor or transfer of file to ndvo? cld u share your full timeline with dates...thx

My old address in india is also of the place where I m currently working . I m staying of my own in bangalore and my parents are in new delhi. I worried in case I shift to pune how will I receive any mails. Confirm if they do send anyrhing thru mails once it comes to ndvo. How do we receive ppr?

ppr comes by e-mail.......so u have no issues u can send it to them from anywhr in india............only when they send the pp bk ....the address which was in your application it will go to that address....
