Hi mannatdel!

I have some advice for you and other waiting for PPR.

DON'T

NDVO has my passport for the past 4 months. No movement from them at all. I don't have a job because I didn't anticipate waiting this long and I'm basically burning money on long distance telephone calls, etc.

Now it's too late for me, but I could have told NDVO that I am not able to submit passport now, can I submit it at a later stage. There have been a few cases where people requested 2nd PPR and then when that 2nd PPR came, got back PP in 2-3 days. While idiots like me wait for over 4 months.

If you have nothing to lose, go for it and submit your PP.

NDVO requests PP at the early part of processing unlike other VOs which request for PP when all is done and only the need is to stick the visa on your PP.

You are your own judge but look at all options, such as a 2nd PPR. Talk to your lawyer or consultant and get their opinion too. Make an informed decision.

I know you are waiting for long and i can feel your pain even i feel bad too.I dnt understand what the hell they are doing.

What I meant is, when you get your PPR and submit your passport, be prepared to wait. That's a mistake I made, I thought I'd get the PP back in 2 months. But it's been longer.

If I had known I would have told them to send me another PPR closer to the date of visa issue, when everything was sorted out.

Anyway, nothing can be done now. Except wait.

Hey Mannatdel,

I am back now. I think the Forum was very calm in my absence.
Ok back to your question. I have already told you not to worry about the PPR. Because after 25th October, 2012, the trend of sending the PPR has been changed because lot of people complained to CIC. Now the PPR will be sent when they have completed their whole process and are ready to issue you a PR. So don't worry about anything. Just have patience and wait & watch.

The applicants whose applications have been received after 25th October, 2012, every applicant is going to get the conditional PR for two years and I hope that once NDVO will clear all the applications till 25th OCT, 2012, the processing time is going to change dramatically and will be very fast. So just wait and watch.

Hi Aakriti,

I think that you have just got the AOR. Your husband's file will be transferred to New Delhi after you will receive the sponsorship approval. And the process of the step 2 for the Applicants (application received after Oct 25, 2012) is going to change. Nothing is predictable as of now.

Please check the spreadsheet by clicking the link in my signature and kindly provide the missing information so that I can update it in the sheet.

hi gulzar,
I submitted my husband's file to Mississauga office on 12th of February and i got file no. on 25th February. Is that mean my file is transfered to india??? and how long is the process time for step 2 i mean how long takes once file is transferred in india....

The processing time for the New Delhi VO is 10 months. Yes, most are processed earlier, but the NDVO only got your file in February. You need to be patient, a lot more patient. It could easily be 4-6 more months, if not more.
