Hi guys, i m re-posting this message because i didnt get any response last time.


3 days ago my wife got 4 missed calls from CIC... she was not near the phone so the calls were missed.
My wife called CIC office New Delhi at Telephone: 91 (11) 4178-2000 the next day. Basically the operator responded and asked my wife if she knew anyone at CIC. My wife said no she doesnt know anyone there but she's applied for visa and she had 4 missed calls by CIC yesterday. The operator didnt take the file number, name or anything and just said that they will get back to you. That is all.

Has this happened to anyone else? How long after did they call you back again? What was it about? Can you provide any info or tips on how should i go about this?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Below is my time-line

Medical done - Jan 2013
Application Sent - March 3, 2013
Application Recieved - March 5, 2013
Decision Made (Canadian husband's request approved for sponsorship) - April 2, 2013
Passport Request (Wife in India's passport request etc) - April 22, 2013
Passport sent (May 12, 2013), according to tracking number, the passport arrived at Canadian High Commission in Delhi on May 14, 2013
Status change to "In Process" on October 10, 2013.
Wife got 4 missed calls from CIC on October 24, 2013

maybe regarding address confirmation as its ip for you. Not sure when will they contact you again. Tell ur wifey to keep her fone with her 24*7 u neva know when u get it again. Good luck.

I think pp is only given to the person whos pp it is with an id proof........that's what my post man had said.......

yes it takes 2-12 days...all depending which part of india u staying.....since u in Punjab moga...u shld have it before wed don't take tention its matter of few more days ....u are finally thru all the best

They started processing on October 24th.

sanju don't loose hope there are 70+ ppl waiting from jan-march as yet................not heard any news..............every passing weeks 15+ dm/ip we are getting.......don't worry your turn will come too cant tell u when but surely it will come sab ka ayega...........all we can do is wait n wait n wait....cheer up
