I left for 3 mnths. No problems so far. I called cic to confirm and they said there is no restriction. U can travel anywhere u want. But cant leave canada permanently..

Been searching for this one and glad to find. next part of question is, how does it affect the PR process if my sponsor travel to India for few months which means need to find a job when travels back.

For these notes but he said its gonna cost me $500
I dunno if its true bcos he said $5 fee is for only status of

I can do it for you much cheaper only $499.99....and I finish the job and get paid after submitting unlike lawyers who want it upfront. Just do it yourself and send an email to your lawyer saying that you saved $495 and that will be donated to his charitable (I assume it is lawyers association) organization

when I landed, I was asked to produce landing documents (COPR) and they verified the documents. Asked questions about category that I had applied, what address I was going to stay and if I had list of things that I was carrying (only in case of land cross over) and if I was carrying more than $10000..that's it

PR process is not affected..in fact if there is an interview, both of you can parade into New Delhi office and proclaim that one moved to India to be with the sponsored and to share the waiting torture...if you stay for more than 180 days you will have to deal with Indian immigration laws (if you are a non Indian citizen and if you do not have an OCI)..on the Canadian side depending on the province your health card may become invalid and have to apply again..finding a job when your sponsor gets back is a whole different ball game (hopefully if your sponsor has some savings he/she might be able to survive the ordeal..also if he/she goes back in the winter, in general, hiring stops in the winter..not that they have plenty of jobs in other seasons unless your are specialized in mining and petroleum industries)
