got the passport wid visa on 14-10-2013

I am just curious as my status is DM since 10th OCT and no PP yet.
My spouse was suppose to fly back in a day but he cancelled the flight to stay with me and will re - book flight when PP arrives. :

Interesting didn't know destination in Canada made a difference. Is it at provincial level or even region within the province?

There's nothing like that provinces make the diff....it makes diff for foreign workers/skilled workers application not for spousal application....

it does ..............how can alberta people applied late getting visas?
even i know the people who had applied rather than Ontario like Alberta and HAlifax are getting fast visas in student and visitor category in few days.. Just there was no strike and people who had applied in Ontario were badly affected.........

do NDVO people get too many holidays? Bakrit, Deepavali coming. I assume it is a government holiday on those days and NDVO is off too. If they get both Canadian and Indian government holidays, how can I get a job there? plus I get to strike as a bonus.
