Hi Everyone..

I have couple of questions regarding PPR and would appreciate if someone can help me out.

1) My wife(principal applicant) did a name change(last name) on passport before our wedding as both of us have same last name. the old passport got cancelled and they issued new passport with updated name...so far so good.

I thought that since the old passport is cancelled anyways, I answered '1' to the following question in ""SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM - DELHI" :-

How many passports have you had, including the one you currently hold?

Now, in the PPR email, NDVO is asking to mail all the passports she had. So, will it be an issue if we just send the valid one or we must send both with some kind of explanation letter.

2) Can someone recommend a reliable courier service to send passport or registered mail is fine.

3) is this the valid address to send PP?

You should e-mail to delhi embassy so that they can tell you the status of your case.

I would suggest that you send them an email and attach a scan of her new passport. And in the message body , just explain that this is her new passport.

dear sir I just recived a email from cic they told me they recived my application next what should I do do I send them latest passport copy my wife which is mention last name change

I think we should make an online petition and send that CIC ... If other countries can get the entire procedure done in couple of months Y can't canada do the same

I personally feel those online petition wont be considered, as every country has its own Formalities and procedures for Immigration. As jk45(Forum Member as said rightly said "first sacrifice-Canada ask for is to give up your relatives..parents...") ??? ??? ???

haha We Wish.....and this is not about getting VISA or Canada.. it is more about to be with your soul mate...unfortunately as we all know,.. first sacrifice Canada ask for is to give up your relatives..parents...

Yeah you are right ......Sacrificing Precious time which we cant get back if Canada agrees to pay 1million $ as compensation for delay in the procedures

Just a thought:

May be CIC NDVO processes files based on the date of medical submission.

I think this because the only 2013 applicant hm82 who got visa so far had his medical done in october 2012.....and even 2012 applicants have just reached people wid medical done in november....

Your guess as in... Applicants in 2012 are received their VISA stamped now??? as their medicals were done in 2012... Do you mean to say that... If that's so... then i just hope its true

Guys i have question (Please help)

Do we need to send the PCC to CIC or New Delhi high commission of every state of India where we lived more than six months or home town PPC is enough??

I guess it should not be like that. CIC website say EVERY COUNTRY, since 18 years of age and stay for more than 6 months... I think you should get police certificate from police station of current place of resident OR get PCC for local passport office.... visit website of passport seva...better get it from passport office coz it is more standard..
