you guys are doing a great job... i have been visiting as a guest for so long. I just applied to sponsor my husband. They received the file last week. I have a long way to go..... Anyways, can someone tell me when should I be able to check the status online? Can I check it on my id? or do I need to create one for my husband on cic?

Yess !!! MP from the area where ur sponsor live in canada... You just have to give ur file number to ur MP and he/she will find out the status of ur application...

they ll assign a UCI for both of u and a file number using which u can check the status. Ur uci # u'll get along with the sponsorship approval email. And applicant's uci # with the Passport request email. Good luck

yes dear applicant no(starts from F) is for the applicant uci is for the sponsor and once u get ppr .....applicants gets another uci no..........
