im sure if anyone has changes in their status they will definitely post here....till then we have to wait nothing else we can do ...........gp88 don't loose hope be strong u are nearly there.....very soon u will get your decision on your application ....just be positive and believe in yourself.....positive thinking will help you develop inner peace, success and improved relationship........ key is to be patient soon u will be giving us news all the best

hang in there u don't have a choice nothing in our hands....they have started issuing visa's ...now u just have to sit and wait for your turn.....they have reached 4th april applicants but a lot of ppl from 2012 then jan-march 2013 are still waiting for their visa's....just be positive and keep yourself busy..... everyone will get their visa's soon or later... u are waiting only since 3 months here ppl have been waiting since 18 months....imagine their state.....all I can say is u need to have a lot of patience...god bless and hope u get your visa very soon

Yha I know that, one needs a lot of patience surely..

I was actually suppose to be a May applicant too but unfortunately my file was sent back due to a missing doc, which was again sent back in June!! Also I am aware that there are many 2012 applicants who are still waiting yet to make a start of a beautiful phase of their life which is delayed due to the way the process is going.

And its not about whinging or crying or staying positive here. I guess we are all alike people here who understand each-others emotions nonetheless even much more than the others who are physically existing in our day to day lives.

Much is the reason why we are here on this forum every now and then and some like me even coming to check updates or consoling others (ONLY BECAUSE WE UNDERSTAND)

So its great, one and all of us are interacting and updating each and every one of us in terms of the application or even otherwise by giving advice/suggestions or being an emotional pillar for so many of the members..

Hey friends!! is it necessary to have my hubby's signature too in the consent form we send to request gcms notes?

My Wife did did for me so when you enter your information it will automatic not prompt your for concent form though I sent signed form but it did't used.

I have the exact same timeline. Even My ecas says "We received your application for permanent residence on March 25, 2013" but unfortunately mine stil says "Application received" so freakin annoying.

Maybe you will get some status update soon.
dont loose hope.... all the very best ... now i don't know how long will i have to wait to see decision made against my name in e-cas.
and many a times the status of applicant directly changes from application received to decision made...you never know

What an arse.. I have lived in Canada over 15 years and its such people who tarnish the reputation of hardworking immigrants.. One rotten apple is enough to cause Immigration department to scrutinize each and every applicant, and cause delays for genuine applicants..

Help you??? Surely..A piece of advice.. Get a real job (not a fake experience letter) and you would be fine..else, you will end up driving taxis up in Yonge street..

I am a March Applicant.
We had applied on the 25th of March 2013.

After almost 6 months of applying today morning when I logged in to check my status online,I got a pleasant surprise.
From application received, it went to " IN PROCESS."

When you click on IN Process, it gives the following details.

1. We received your application on the 25th of March 2013.

2. We started processing your application on the 18th of Sept 2013.

3. Medical Results have been received.

Can somebody please update the sheet.

Key is to be patient Steve Jones, I am sure you will get some positive update soon.
I used to post in this forum long time ago, but since past 3 months people are just posting random stuff here. I only used to log in to check any in processes or decision made.

But since this is a good news , I thought of posting it here.

All the best to all, they are working on our files now it seems.

Just have patience and believe in your relationship with your spouse ,yourself and god.
Good things are in store for all of us.
It took my husband 7years to become a permanent resident of Canada, 2 Years of studies in Canadian university and then job in a Canadian company. Same status I will be getting in few month's time.

If we think logically and practically , we all knew that few months of waiting is required to get the same status as our spouses in Canada.
The timeline says 11 months now.

Key is positivity thorughout . All of us will get our visas soon.

applied for GCMS again...second time...first time nothing started except medicals passed. In a month, I will see if they have anything new. If not, I am helping Canadian economy grow by $5 every month. We all have to do our patriotic duty by paying $5 every month. Now going to India tonight and help Indian economy grow by spending money. And they tell me that I don't deserve a statue every street corner while an Indian politician deserves one every street corner.

you are a MAY applicant right...so when did you apply for GCMS notes the first time ? I also applied on the 17th of may...dont know if i should apply for them since only been 4months...

you are a MAY applicant right...so when did you apply for GCMS notes the first time ? I also applied on the 17th of may...dont know if i should apply for them since only been 4months...

no need in your case since NDVO sent you a PPR...my case my PPR is somewhere in twilight zone or lala land. My notes indicated that they have not done anything like asking for PP but put it on the shelf for display like Navarathri days (at least it is only 9 days for dolls but mine has been couple of months)
