My husband also got an email today saying he is in Q for an interview. He should get a letter with all the details 4-6 weeks before the interview date.

Can you please give us an tips on what to expect at the interview, and how long it takes to get a visa once cleared?

Looks like most of the JAN and FEB application who has no update are getting interview. This is so not good.

Did u get re-medical request. I think you should contact your MP regarding medical or apply for GCMS notes.

Thanks a lot for your wishes.
I have no complaints so far as my file was processed within the time specifications that they have mentioned.

This is not only my first file with CIC. I had my own immigration, then sponsorship of parents, then citizenship, then my wife's sponsorship. So far what I have experienced with CIC is that if you provide all the information and answer all the questions that may complicate your file at the beginning, then VO has no more questions. When your file comes for review, you get approval right away. So far my experience with CIC is not bad.

There are some situations where the processing might be delayed, but it will be done sooner or later.

I pray that everybody get the VISA and joined their loved ones. I know how it feels when you are away from your loved ones.

This is really great news. You being a March applicant and getting a visa within 6 months timeframe - that is very positive mental reinforcement for everybody in this thread. This gives great hope for people like myself who applied in April.

I would like to wish you best of luck in the future with your spouse in Canada wherever you are. It's time to celebrate
