hi everybody long wait is over. finally got my visa .collected my passport from ndvo. there was 10 people collcted there passport from ndvo.atleast 6 were spouse visa. have to enter canada before 6 april.good luck to everbody.

Woww.... congrats.. finally some movement.. on 2012 members.. now we just need some more.. of this to happen..??? its a shame that they have changed the processing time to the 13 months now.. this will really effect the new 2014 batch coming in.. Lets just hope we get some news this week. Im still waiting for a dam interview date..???? :-

My husband was given his passport back and was told to wait to get letter from NDVO so he can re-do his medicals and pcc.

It’s over a month now and he still hasn’t received any letter yet.

Anybody who passed the interview and got the letter to re-do medicals, please advise how long did it take for you to get it after the interview?

CONGRATULATIONS.........it is giving me some hope that I was not alone only in this ******** Que. You were Jan 2012 applicant and I am Apr. 2012 . Your application was also in Process since 08/2012and mine is from 10/2012. So lets hope..........I will also get my PP soon.... I am very happy for you.

Wow Congratulations for passport back with the shiny visa. I am veryy happy for you that you are finally over this game and you are already kicked out of this forum. you deserve to get visa after waiting damn long processing. No more frustration with NDV0. We didn't wait for a letter. The officer didn't tell us to wait for any letter. My husband did his re-medical and PCC and sent it. I know people in this forum have waited for a letter and it takes long time.. so a few people suggested to write a cover letter and send their documents. It cuts down on the time... Your husband should get his medical and pcc done. maybe the letter will arrive by then...or you can send the documents under a cover letter with your file details.

Exactly - we too did the same and with the same purpose, to cut down on processing time. As it is we've been waiting for so long, so it only makes sense to take every step possible to reduce further wait time...

We sent it in and when we got the request/letter, we simply referenced the package we sent with a detailed cover letter.
(Cover letter included: name and file details, when the interview was completed, date of the remedial and the doctor we use, the date we sent the package including the tracking number and courier company used, etc.)

Response from MP in December 2013 was that background checks not started and medicals expired...I Sent re medicals and passport this week and hope not to receive any more requests from ND Embassy....

Was wondering is there any chance of Interview.I asked this to my MP and response was if Interview was recommended then CIC would have told the MP when they did the status update last time in December 2013.My file In Process since Feb 2013.Good luck to every one....

"I don't know how they guys at the embassy work " - hahaha, I don't think they do anything at all because if they actually did work (even half a$$'ed their job) - 1) we wouldn't have to wait this long and 2) wouldn't have had to endure all this much...
