New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Us too still waiting. A sept 2012 applicant, passport expiring this month, ndvo not replying to emails, mp says background check going on, need passport back . 2.5 weeks ago this guy called from ndvo verifying info from my huband, told him pp expiring, he said will send it back right away, still no pp back 12 .5 months to my applicatio already....

I am Sept 2012 applicant. Passports with NDVO since Nov 2012. Medicals expired in July 2013. Still waiting patiently...

I have emailed them - no response.
I have sent a status request via courier to them - no response.
I did MP enquiry in September 2013.
My wife sent a status request letter by hand through someone - but they did not accept.

My MP's asst., got back to me saying "Medicals have expired. Please await further instruction". I knew this so nothing new.

All this was before the strike ended, so hoping something happens soon now.

BTW, the MP's asst. told me not to contact them again until January 2014 in a rather strong tone. I did not plan to anyways but still thought that was a little odd. And I did not call them ten times for that kinda reaction.

Lets make a list of all 2012 applicants with medicals expired/close to expiring in the next one month and are still waiting. So we can keep track of each other's case for any insights and moral support. Please contact me.

My anniversary passed, Medical expired and 10 months has passed.


I called MP again to find out whats going on and HE WAS RUDE :-\ He said it might delay the process which is ridiculously bad excuse to be so lazy..

I sent email twice already to NDVO but No respond.

Still waiting for an interview date. :-\

Whats going to happen if you medical is expired already?? mine was expired end of september..
Are they going to ask to redot medical??? If so, are they going to take longer?? I waited enough ..

Guys am new to this forum...Even i am a 2012 applicant and don't know what to do?? I applied for spouse visa in november but still E-CAS shows "application received medical results have been received" for the past 10 months.. :'( I applied through an immigration consultant and have been asking her whether we can do an MP enquiry or apply for GCMS notes but she's just giving me the same answer to be patient and wait as the strike delayed the process and hopefully i might get an update this month. Lets hope for the best : :

Response from MP on OCt 2nd 2013 -

In response to your e-mail yes the client has passed eligibility the file is in process in New Delhi next step would be the background verifications which have not started yet and the meds are expired however no request has been sent to the client yet .

Should I expect remeds or what...How long it takes for Background verifications...Thansk

UR VERY RITE IM WITH..... GURINDER... I HAVE BEEN TO DELHI HIGH COMMISSION THEY WONT EVEN LET YOU STAND OUTSIDE MORE 10 MINS.. ONLY IF U HAVE A LETTER.. OR INTERVIEW ...FRM NDVO.... THEY ARE VERY CRUELL PPL AND STRICKT... CLOSESET BATHROOM AROUND THE EMBASSY AREA.. IS 3-4 KM...AWAY.. KNOWING FROM EXPERINCE...

BUT HONEST TO GOD.. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING.. WITH 2012 APPLICANT CUZ.. IM READING 2013 FORUM 2 PEOPLE GOT PP BACK. TODAY.. 9 DM`S ON WENNSDAY IM HHAPPY FOR EVERYONE .. I have exactly the same time line. Oct 12, approved Nov 20, passport sent March 2.. I found out from Mp that we will have interview but Idk when.??

Just cant believe how they can miss a whole 2012 yr applications...
an move to 2013....I just don't think its fair.. I mean im happy for ppl are getting visa..
