For mp inquiry search the address and go directly to the office in India-in India you have to explain the situation but its really hard to explain them bcoz they hardly know how to do it.
It is advisable to do inquiry from Canadian mp. They are quick.

I will ask for GSMS notes. One more thing how much a Indian Area MP inquiry works positively? Because at times I heard they put your application last in the queue if we get in touch with Indian area MP.
I am thinking to ask my Indian Area MP to send inquiry email to NDVO.

And is it mandatory that only my sponsor needs to contact Canadian Area MP. Is its possible that any of my friend/relative can check with Canadian Area MP for File Inquiry.

Hi Can 4 Visa.
I did MP enquiry. SHe said they have every document they need thenI dont understand why they are taking time to process my case further. NO PPR YEt File was Transfered on feb 20.
March applicant already have visa..

So worried

I had got my GCMS notes. and it says Applicant resided in Canada for over 6 months. HQRC check required on PA pending outcome.

It means that they are probably doing some sort of internal check thru their database about you. Depending on the outcome, (i.e no adverse info) they will grant the PR.

Was this statement on the previous notes?

Indian MP cannot do much unfortunately. I don't think they would put your file last if you get your Indian MP to enquire! Anyway the Indian MP does not have any power in this matter so I'd suggest don't even bother contacting your Indian MP.

Even the Canada MP can only enquire on your behalf. He/She can't move things faster.

Yes, your sponsor should contact Canada MP. Your friend/relative can contact the Canada M/P but why would you want to share your file details with friends/relatives. Also it looks suspicious if your spouse does not enquire, right? I mean if the marriage is genuine why wouldn't your sponsor get in touch with the MP himself/herself.

Yeah that is what I am thinking. But it was the same note on June GCMS and they did not update and touch my file after 03rd May 2013. These notes updated on that date and due date was 01st Aug 2013. New GCMS was printed on 16/08/2013 and it is the exactly same as previous notes. I don't know how these ppl are working in Canada.

I'd tried to Google HQRC but nothing has been found......It is more than one year they are hatching on my passports.

Hey there, I am dec 2012 applicant and my MP also told me that I will be going to have an interview but don't know when as they are scheduling.

My question is do you know if they already have done the background checks or security checks or do they wait for the interview to get over and then start doing them ??

Any ideas ??

I read sometimes that interview was the last step they took if interview was required.... And I think this makes sense because if they are denying your application it's easier to find some reason from ur background checks rather than a reason during interview? And also theyay want to ask u questions from their background checks during the interview. Anyhow this makes sense to me but who really knows if this is always the order followed?

so wats this background chk n how much time it usually takes... : :-X :'(

If you got PPR by call then most probably you have missed 1st and 2nd PPR which was sent to you by email. N background check takes diff time in diff case. Do you have any travel history n all?

I never got any email from ndvo.
And yes I had travelled to america 3 years back for like one month and nothing else.
wat next is to be thought of?

Ok than that won't be a issue, have you ordered GCMS notes ? Also there are some Jan, 2013 applicants who have recently got Visa and some are still waiting so you can wait a while.
