My COUSIN APPLIED IN JUNE 2013. GOT APPROVED IN JULY AND GOT PASSPORT REQUEST TODAY. Took exactly 2 months so far..

--I AM STILL WAITING Going to MP today..

You just have to find MP around your area on google.

Call them or send them an email about your process.

They will send you 2 pieces of paper to fill it up. One for you and one for your partner.

Mail them or drop it at the office.

Next step is for them to send new delhi office an email and you will hear within one week.

Clarification !!!! All the MPs don't necessarily give two forms to fill it up. I got IMM5475e. Filled it up n submitted it. Got reply from NDVO in 7 days n i got reply today from MP

This is good news. My husband had Decision made within 10 days after In Process. Hope it's the same for you.

What is the procedure for requesting passport back from NDVO - its more than 6 months they are sitting with passport and no update.

what does your e-cas status says..

When we received passport with visa and copr document, e-cas showed in-process but one week later, it tuned to decision made without any change in address.

I got my ppr 27 days ago and I submitted same day but no reply from CHC-I and my ECASE showing Application Received and Medical results have been received lines, but I cannot see any IN PROCESS Sad any idea why?

I just logged into ecas wid my UCI and also hubbys immigration file#
And all adreesss in mailing adresss and current address
Are showing Canadian address ( my lawyers) now there no Indian address are showing
It did before?
Very strange

Ecas : still reads application received oct 31 2012 and Medicals received

Did you ever try gcms? I also applied in Oct, 2012 and our medical was expiring in Sep 2013, thank God, we received visa in Aug 2013. Also try your local MP to know the status of your application if you haven't tried yet. Highlight the issue of your medical expiry date when you talk to your MP office. E-cas is not reliable.

As per some previous posts in other threads you can't go for re-medical un till requested by visa office. They are going to send you mail regarding same along with PP. As you require PP for the same.

When was your visa issued? And how long after visa did you receive your passport? And which part of India are you in? I'm trying to get an idea of when to expect my passport and start packing!

I know they did an upgrade on E-cas and the system has changed. So that might be one reason why.

When I log to my ecas (sponsor) it shows my name on the left with decision made and then it shows my husband name on the right with decision made and both mailing address and permanent address is Canada. When I log on to my husband's e-cas it shows Decision made and current mailing address is the Indian address. So even I am nervous a little. We are waiting for his passport and thinking his address needs to change in e-cas. Though I have read that many do not see an address change.

The one thing is, when I used to log on to my ecas (sponsor) my husband's name was never there. It was just the status of my sponsorship application. But now his name is there. So i think that is a good sign because is shows him as his address in Canada.

It's weird and I'm not sure what to make of it.
Anyone else log into the sponsors page and see both sponsor and principal applicant? I am curious if those without decision made has both sponsor and applicant (on the sponsors ecas)?
