did you got the gcms notes?

Hello everyone
My 10month got over in July after submission of passport.
Got remedial in June and its been more then a month since submission of remedial.
Did MP inquiry but wasn't that helpful before a week.
Mp told my case is in a queue to get reviewed by officer.
He told me to inquire again at the end of sept if nothing happens with my file.
He also told strike is affecting everything so things will get delayed (BE PREPARED FOR THAT).
My query is what about my PCC is it still valid it's been more then year I submitted my PCC , but they didn't asked for my PCC till now. What should I do
And is there anyone who got decision made after remedial or have any idea how long it can take to decision made after remedial.
I'm really frustrated with the system
Is ther any other way then GCMS note or MP inquiry.
I'm also waiting for GCMS notes -it's been 29days since I applied for GCMS notes

There is no other way to find out anything except MP enquiry and GCMS notes. You can try to send a case specific enquiry, but when I did that, it didnt get answered and it's been almost a month. You should get your GCMS notes in a week or two. It takes up to 30 days to get them.

As for PCCs, dont worry. Most likely they will not ask for new PCC. Your PCC cannot be older than 3 months when you submit them but otherwise they don't really 'expire'. Usually if they want a new PCC, the request comes with the remedical.

Since they have asked you to redo medicals, that means they are ready to make a decision. Hang in there. It could be another month for you.

All the best!

@maplegal thanks for the reply

I have received my GCMS notes today and as per them the PPR was sent on 25th May, 2013 which I haven't got by mail/email. Please guide me how should I proceed now. Shall I send my Passport directly along with the printout of notes or is there any other option.

I called CIC mIssisauga this morning indicating 10 months has been passed.

They lady was very nice but she saids its not in there hand now since everything is forwarded in New delhi. They only answer for Sponsor Inquiry.

She just asked me to send an email to them. Mention in the email saying 10 months passoing and medical expiring soon.

I don't mean to cause you distress, but the 10 months are from the time the file is transferred to NDVO. From your timeline that seems to be in November, there fore your 10 months would be complete in September.

The reason I'm saying this is, unless your time has elapsed they are not under any obligation to speed up the process or to promptly reply to your emails.

Best of luck.

my wife got a call today from the post office, they said she had a package from the embassy and she has to come sign for it. lets hope its her passport with a stamped visa! :oD
