Dear All,

This is a request for all who read/write on this forum.

I am looking for an Indian couple (Canada PR holder) who did interfaith marriage (very specific Hindu-Christian faith) and got their spouse visa approval from New Delhi Visa office (outland)

I would appreciate if you can share what all information you had provided during your spouse application. Any specific details in particular were provided or were asked by Visa office later in the processing stage (may be in interview or email/letter sent by CIC asking for more information) which would help other (even me) in curtailing the processing time for the spouse visa.

I am asking this because I have learnt that interfaith marriage in India (very specific Hindu-Christian) are refused spouse visa by the New Delhi Visa Office very easily.

Your valuable inputs will help me as I did interfaith marriage (where I am Christian and my husband is Hindu). We did Court marriage then traditional marriage as per both religions (without converting). I am applying for spouse sponsorship very soon.

From 15th May 2013 you can get GCMS note by applying online only via visiting following link.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

Wish you all a fastest application process.....

I am trying to order online GCMS notes from atip website It brings all the way to the payment process screen and I enter credit card details but it does not accept the payment. It gives the message - The payment could not be processed: Transaction incomplete.

I am using firefox web browser on Linux.

Regards,
RM

Hi,

I am wondering why its taking very long for your application to be processed.. Was your file complicated? What is your scenario? Is it tooo many travel history? second marriage? Medical problem?

Sorry for asking these personal questions.. I am just wondering..

Hi,

I have a query . As ours is a 2nd marriage , is that an issue for getting Visa within the time frame. What are the possible ups and downs in getting Visa in such a case. We have send all the supportive docs and NDVO has not come back with any extra document request till date. My PPR was more than 2 months and we are contemplating GCMS late this month.

Please share your thoughts.

You have to wait a long....it is only 5 months since you applied... You may be called for an interview, It is good that you'd requested a GCMS notes, it will let you know if anything odd.

Good luck

Hey NDVO has not asked for any additional Docs for anything. My passport is with them for over two months and medicals already done..I thought interview is waived off. My husband is sponsoring me and our child and he is a citizen. Sponsor Decision has been made within 15days. Till PPR all happened very quickly without any hangups. Still do you think there is a possibility for interview or something additional to that.

You are scaring me...our docs are all open and shut case.

Hi,

I finally recieved the GCMS notes today and everything looks good. The file went in process on Feb 14th. The notes say that request for passport was sent on Feb 18. My wife has recieved no email or letter for passport request so far.

I sent a case specific enquiry explaining my situation. Can anyone please let me know what should be my next step? Can my wife send the passport or do we have to wait for an official request? Is there any other way to contact New delhi Visa office and expedite the process?

Thanks

hiiiii alll
its been 4 days since i got DM....still no address change in ecas??? when i except PP back???
have doubt they send PP back after DM or address change in ecas they will send PP back???
can any one tell me???
i stays in andhra pradesh how many days it takes to receive PP back???

Hi everybody,

Can somebody suggest me whether I shall make an enquiry or not. I had applied in November, 2012 PPR- Feb.9 2013 and status since then is App received. There has been no communication by NDVO, whereas I see here in the forum various nov. and dec. applicants have got DM.
I applied through a consultant and she recommended to inquire in June. Mine was a simple case- first marriage, "medical results have been received" appears in the status, 1 time visit to US for 1week less than 6 months but FBI clearance was sent, PCC was also sent.
I doubt if it doesn't come till June I ll have to wait further- which has become very difficult esp. for my wife. whether I should go for case specific inquiry or GCMS notes or MP inquiry???????

PPR does not mean that Visa would be issued at that stage..they ask PPR for every file gt transferred. Most of the second marriage cases called for an interview. I am not scaring you but you must expected an unexpected always. :P :P :P

You said your child is a Canadian....Did you gave birth in Canada?? or he/she is step child??? in both case an interview may be called. Do you have child from second marriage??? I am sorry if it is personal.......but I am trying to figure out....

Good Luck
