Normally NDVO wont send any separate AOR. Mostly PPR or any doc request will be the first communication from them.
Okay, thanks Muksi. I just wanted to verify.

Hi There,

I would suggest you to call NDVO customer service and ask if they received your courier. Emailing will be time consuming and the chances are less that they would respond to it.

Thanks

Does anyone know what is the telephone number for the NDVO customer service..?

Thanks!

Okay, so I ordered GCMS notes on April 10th, and finally got them today. (Looks like if these people have 30 days, they will wait till the very end to send it.)

I found out a few things. Good news first:
  • Everything regarding our relationship seems to be in order. It says they reviewed our file, supporting documents and photos and the relationship appears to be genuine.
  • They noted that we applied for Temporary Resident Visa and it was refused, but it's not being held against us - I was pretty worried that this might come up as a problem.
  • And the main thing... They had sent PPR to us via email on 2013 Feb 9 (along with AOR)! The due date was set for 2013 March 26. But we never received the email.

The thing is, we used a representative (an immigration consultant), and it was their email address listed. The lady whose email was used left the firm, and her email address got deactivated, I guess. I brought this up with the firm, and they said, no it's active and we will still get all emails - they were clearly wrong! NDVO even got a notice that the email was not delivered, but they didn't bother to follow up with us by phone or regular mail for the last 3 months.

Anyway, now I know this, thanks to the GCMS. I called the CIC call center (in Canada) and they said email the NDVO (DELHI-IMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca) and tell them this, give them a correct email address, and ask them to resend the PPR.
But as you can imagine, I don't have a lot of faith in NDVO responding to emails in a timely fashion. So I'll send the email, but does anyone know if we can call NDVO directly and tell them this?

PS. I noticed that the GCMS notes were printed on April 15th, but they didn't send me the email for 25 days! This is ridiculous! Why do they waste our time like this?? >:(

HI AMMUNKNN..
I would strongly recommend you or your spouse whoever is in Canada to contact your MP and tell him that this has happened. They will email NDVO on your behalf and NDVO replies in less than a week to them. They will also stay in contact until your file has a decision.

You can always email NDVO by stating URGENT ENQUIRY in the subject line, but in your case - be on the safe side and contact your MP to get this done faster.

I have used a consultant as well and I know the pain of when they do not communicate to you properly. We paid them to get stuff done on time, and they delay it for us!

GUYS NEVER USE WWICS AS YOUR CONSULTANT..!! - they screwed up our timeline!
