I havent received my passport yet,im just hoping tht i get it soon Inshallah...am a bit worried...anways I am from Uttar Pradesh...not far from Delhi :

My question is if we need to make a "change of address" in India. Does it delay the process and how long does it take for them to change the address. My wife application is already in NDVO and stage 2 "in process".

Passport request rcvd : November 2012
Passport sent : November 2012

I am the sponsor (husband), and when I check on ecas using my wife (principal applicants) details, it still says "Application Received".

Am I the only one at this status still after so long? Why has it not yet changed to "in process" atleast or is this normal?

Its been 5 months since we sent the passports and still shows "Application Received"....do I just wait or should I do something?

in my opinion,u should inquire MP of ur area to ask NDVO regarding status of your appliccation.. Iwe have seen some DMs directly from appl recvd and some with very quick changes from Inprocess to DM... Recent example is Arsh.brar .. Look at his timeline.. He was also having same issue with status not changing to Inprocess.. But he got DM soon once it changed to inproc.., Some of us are also waiting since two months or more after status changed to Inprocess.. Hope and pray it changes to Inprocess soon then U ll see quick changes on ur status...

Why two weeks? U are scaring me. Where does ur wife live in india? Would it take that long? I am expecting my pp by the end of this week.
If I am not wrong brar.arsh got his pp back with 4 days and he is from patiala. Chandigrah is equally far. Would it take two weeks for chandigarh? This is so bad.

Yours and Mine timeline are almost the same. I have no travel history at all. Still no update. It shows APPLICATION RECEIVED. Do'nt know my dear friend when this wait will be over.

I have question for you: did you try for gcms note or MP? My PR was on 2nd march 2013. Hope to hear something from NDVO Soon.

my wife lives in New Delhi, and she hasn't received her passport yet...and I am talking to her every day, tomorrow is a new day, lets see what we get...
