wow culture test.never heard about it.medical only consist of blood, urine and chest x-ray
Yeah .. I knew .. I couldn't find anything on why they would need it. But doing 2 test and charging for 4 tells you what kind of mindset these people have .. 100 mein se 99 baimaan phir bhi mera Bharat mahan..
It's my mistake and I stopped my wife to give them bribe .. Now I regret of comparing it with Canadian system

is there any old member who gone through rcmp fingerprinting.please help.how long it take?

Hey.. Well I gave my fingerprints at the NDVO on 2nd April 2013 and they said that it will take about 3 months..
Did you give digital prints or ink?

Where did you take your prints? & how did you apply for the RCMP clearance?

See, they check the prints will ALL partial and complete prints on their system... So if there is any match to a partial print then their processing time takes significantly longer as they then have a lot more verifications to complete.

6-7 months sounds crazy but then again they do state on the RCMP website that if any match (even partial matches) significantly increases the processing time.

The application cannot be submitted without a proof that you have undergone Medicals , which is the document that you attach with PR application. That document has ID number on it and when your file reaches local visa office the ID is matched with medical report from doctors which is submitted by doctor.

In my case they have part 1 which I submitted but they can't find part 2 which doctor submitted.

I will put a case specific enquiry and hope they respond in a month otherwise remed

OMG! That's very scary...
A person told me that it took 4... I'm guessing it all depends on how long the RCMP takes to clear a persons prints...

oh wow ... Well these a$$h0les told my wife that they need culture test... So they need 2 tests with 2 samples each and charged for 4 tests ..4k per test=16k .. They said they take 2 extra samples just in case the samples go bad and they have to do second set of test ... WTF ??

She told me this yesterday and I was so furious .. Felt like getting their license revoked for taking advantage of applicants .. And she also told me she wasn't alone .. There were bunch of other people for same thing
