Yes you are right, In some cases PP(s) have been requested 2 to 3 months before visa stamping and some have received PPR within a month they received your application so don't worry if your case is straight forward then definitely you will get visa with in 6 months from effective date of application received by New Delhi.
See the links below the spread sheet of 2012 New Delhi applicants and you will get some approximate estimate of individual filed applications:

Hey I have another question in my Mind. When I have send mine and our daughter's original Passport through Bluedart I have not send my Medical report. Should I wait to receive a Medical request letter from NDVO or go to a Panelised Doc and get mine and Daughter's Medical done and send to NDVO with our File No and UCI no.

Also My daughter is 8 years old. Medicals are required for her too?

Depending on your reply will move for appointments tomorrow it self.

Will this help in expediting?Or should I wait for the NDVO to send me the Medical request letter.?

Thanks

Hey mine is different case. Its my second medical as the previous one has expired. I am feb 2012 applicant . Recently I had an interview and at the time of interview I was told by the visa officer to submit new medical and pcc in order to get visa..
Regarding ur query I am sorry I won't be helpful becoz I am not aware of this thing. I am sure someone on this forum would answer ur query.

Hunger strike will also not make any diff with NDVO ...

Why do you think it is taking so long for some cases after having a successful interview . I mean you are waiting since Nov , I'm waiting since Aug ,, and there are many more who are waiting . Did your VO tell you anything after the interview .

I'm absolutely clueless what's happening and how they are working . Still don't know how much more time they will take to finalize our files .

Hi All ,

Is there a chance to get a negative decision in your case reaching at the point where I am . I mean if they have asked for re medicals , is there a wild chance for negative outcome.

As you have been already approved of visa after interview, the only unknown is the medical. Since that shouldn't be a problem, i believe 100% only outcome possible is positive. So don't worry, its just matter of time and until then enjoy your time in India with your family :)

There are only few medical condition under which u can be under in admissible.. The information is available on cic site as well.. Even under those circumstances spouse cannot be refused visa based on Medicals.
