Great progress, that you got the email. Check with the approved health center in your area, that whether you need the passport for re-medicals. Medicals procedure has changed recently so maybe its not needed but i am just guessing. All the best!

The mail mentions that I have to go to the same panel physician with the request letter received from CIC .
I'm sure they will do it without the pp ,, as it is with the NDVO

Similar scenario for us too.. On November 18th CPC Mississauga emailed us that the documents have been forwarded to new Delhi office. After that we have not received any mail (or update in website) from New Delhi till yesterday. In yesterday's mail they mentioned that its an AOR mail along with PP request and the file number is created.

So what I think is, CPC Mississauga may have forwarded the application on time and the New Delhi office also may have received on time..But they have not yet opened the file. It may be like they receive all the document.. store it based on date/month and then open the files based on the chronological order. So in your case they may have received the documents but is not acknowledging because they have not yet opened the file... Just a guess!!!

Thanks Calgary for your thoughts. gives me some hope. Anyways, my husband had called the call centre of CIC-M, and they said that the file has been transferred from their end on 14th Nov, 12. They scan all the papers and send the hard copies as well. They informed that based on the query of my husband, they have raised a note to the office of CIC-M to get the actual update on this. My husband is asked to call after a week to know the status.

Hoping to hear some positive response from them. I just hope they haven't lost my file in transit....

I think they have left out May June July applicants from 60% quota which has to be finished in 6 months..

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share some good news... My wife just received a call from NDVO, and informed her that her visa is now in process and they will be dispatching her passport soon. He told her she must travel before April 16th as her medical expires that day! FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS!

Thanks to for everything guys, and hope for many more visa's being issued this week! Especially the ones who have been waiting for so long!

I have a general question....I notice something strange with my ecas. Before my ecas stopped working one week ago...on my account as I am the sponsor...it showed decision made on my part and under my husband's pr status it showed application received. Now that my ecas started to work again....under my status it shows in process.... ??? has anyone else experienced this?????

Finalllllllllllllyyyyyyy my wife received the passport with the visa today.

The visa was granted on Feb 5th and received the passport today through registered mail.

The last time I checked Ecas it was saying Application received so must have gone to decision made directly.
