Hi All,
Just want to let you know finally ECS updated as DM for my wife.
The status changed to DM from Application received, now I need to wait for the shining Visa on her passport and the delivery of the same from the post man.
Thanks for every ones support at all the times when I had questions / clarifications.
Hope this speed up for all of us here.

But when I opened that Decision Made link, it says, we received ur application, started processing on that date, medicals have been receieved and
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Is that usual thing, or they request for any further documentation...???

Hi,
Good to hear that you and your wife are having good time being together. I am exactly in the same position as you were during the application. My wife too is in USA and we went through all the processes including FBI report and so. My sponsorship was approved and the file was sent to New Delhi around September. They asked for her passport which we did send after. Later, they asked for FBI report which was a sort of tedious as was taking such a long time. It's been 4-5 months since we submitted our passport and they already had received the FBI report too. The online status keeps on saying in process with medicals received. Do you have any idea how long the wait is going to be. The main reason is that her passport is with the consulate in Delhi, so she even can't travel anywhere.
Looks like you got passport back in shorter time compared to what I am going through. I am from Nepal too.
ANy rough idea about the waiting period for returning of passport, and of course with a visa.

Just need to know, why CIC changed ur address?? I am not getting that part...

It is very simple. The role of the Representative is over now because of DM so that is the reason it shows the Indian address of the Applicant now and in two three days it will be changed to the Canadian Address of the Sponsor which happens in the normal case of the Applicants without the Representative.

Hello,
I am sorry that I don't know what PPR and AOR stand for? I am guessing PPR would be 'passport request' and if that is the case, that was around starting of Sept 2012 while my sponsorship approval was made on Aug 20 (applied in May). Looks like they are working on September files and most of the people have their decision made status. Hopefully it will knock our cases too.

Little Relief..at least now I can see ECAS updated to file received Nov. 28 2012...

Now, what would be the next update (possibly assuming all papers in order)?
Is it Stage 1 - Sponsorship approval?

Congrats roach.

I think they are clearing file as per PPR dates. Lets hope All sept and before files are cleared by next week or today. Lets hope it ends for all soon.
