Hey Maplegal..
Just today i have visited the MP's office for a second time, the first time i met MP's Manager in November 2012 and he told me they are doing a backgroung check on you. wait for a month or so you might hear anything from them. i did not hear nething back..

Today i have requested him that i haven't heard anything back from them not even a letter if they might needed any missing documents or any querries pertaining to my wife application.

He requested for a formal inquiry again, and told me that i will update you within a week time.

What is your thoughts...

My husband contacted MP's office a few weeks back but the lady there said 'I suggest you don't make an MP enquiry as it may delay processing time'.

But this week my husband got fed up of not getting any news so he emailed the MP and a nice lady called back and took the details of my file and said she'll get back to him. We're waiting to hear back.

What do you mean by formal inquiry? Did you have to fill out some form?

As he said i will make a formal inquiry again. that's what i hear.. and i shared it over to you..

Waiting waiting waiting to hear some good news ...

Thanks. Actually I got a reply from MP office on the same lines. He mailed them last tuesday (which was a week after we asked MP office to mail NDVO) and we got reply same as yours on thursday. So I guess both of us will hear soon.

The MP office gives you two forms to fill (just like GCMS) On one you fill the details of your application and other is a consent form for the applicant. Where you (maplegirl) will have to sign and send. You can send a scanned signature. Its always better to visit the MP office physically. They help you through the process.

The wait is horrible. But the fact that your application is in process is a good thing. When did you send request to your MP? They usually take 2 days to 2 weeks to respond.

That's strange. We weren't told to fill out any form. My husband sent an email and a lady called back from the MP's office and took down a few more details about my file and said they'll get back to us.

If she calls back and says 'Your Medical Results have been received. We started processing your file on 04 October 2012.'

I'll scream. I really will. Hahahaha!

Did your MP forward you any email stating this or were you informed verbally. Our MP did not talk about the last part. This is like great news for you man.

Our MP officer does not forward any emails to us. He hardly talks and is totally unemotional. Its like talking to a robot. When my husband went to him this time, we took our GCMS with us. And he was like, I already know the timelines, y r u giving me this. But atleast he gave something positive. We are a little afraid of calling him and asking him to forward the email. He sounds like Amrish Puri on the phone..A real pissed off Amrish Puri.

Yeah..I know even my husband is thinking the same. He was also worried about cleaning the house before I reach. So he decided to stay at a family friends place and look for better places when I come. So that I will be doing all the setting up of house. (men!!)
