Hello friends got the passport back with the Visa .........finally m done ) ....thank god and a big thanks to all the friends out here......this jrny was lil bit easy only coz of the support from this forum..Really encouraging .....Gud luck to all.......Date of visa issur is 15-1-2013.......will be landing soon

Few questions to people who got the visa...

How long is the visa good for? Is it 3 or 6 months? Because usually it use to be 6 months...

Is there a pic on the visa or is it only on the landing paper? Long time there use to be hard copy and carbon copy which needs to be presented at the airport ?

Visa is issued till the expiry date of Medicals, which are Valid for 1 Year.

No Pic on Visa.

Dont know about landing paper.

has anyone recalled their passport recently, if yes hw, coz the usual way is not workin wid me , i had requested mine on 10th of Jan but hv not got it back yet.

I hv to catch a flight on 30 jan morning..........

Any suggesstions???
will going to the CHC personally be of any help???

After 4 Months and 2 days ....received a letter today from NDVO .... I was excited to open it as I thot it could be a PPR .. but no it was a document request ....Additional family information form ....had sent it along with the app but donno why they want it again....anyways have sent it again today

Another weird thing was letter was dated 17th jan and delivered today at my place and they wanted that the document should be sent to NDVO on 17th jan only ....lol funny ppl
