The procedure says that if you unable to reach in canada within the time limit and your visa expires than you have to apply for new pr visa and it takes the same timeline. same 10 months processing time as far as i know. Rest once you have to contact ndvo regarding this issue.........hope you will get your problem resolved my best wishes are with you.........

As per CIC it indicates that your file is under process.
I have submitted my wife spousal immigration file on 31st October 2011. and i have received AOR. my backgground and everything is done in Feburary 2012, and they have forwarded file CIC New Delhi, within 4 weeks CIC New delhi has requested for the passport and we have submitted the passport accordingly, and then in july 2012 CIC New Delhi has schedule a interview of my wife immigration file, everything went well but they want some divorce documents of my previos marriage, which they believe is not sufficient the rectify the visa. henceforth we have send a divorce paper accordinly, in August 2012. then i have got a status on CIC, we have started processing your from 30th Septmber 2012, still i haven't heard anything back CIC New Delhi..

Yes i contacted my local MP, but they are not at any help !!
they gave me a print out of my wife file application status, they acknowledge me wait there process is very slow.. such a sugar candy. i do not want to rely on them.. most of the time OUR MP is not at his office. his PA, has some other money making activity work he is not interested on all this and i have logged complaints agains both MP and his PA, for their misconduct and being not helpful to their Constituency members..

From where in Canada you are? You can visit your MP office personally or send an email from their own website. They have to help you. It ios Not like India and a MP is NOT reachable. ;D ;D ;D

It may possible your wife's last name and date of birth is conflicting with some one and it might be caused delay. Send an enquiry to CHC directly about your file.am4u2ster said:

You know what is the catch, when i asked him to check the status of my wife application last time.. what he told this is a punjabi lawyer you should go him he will check everything for you for the less fees..
