Hello everyone, I'm a new member here but have been reading a lot on this blog since months. There seems to be a mixed bag of emotions flowing on this forum which is very similar to what each one goes through everyday. Below are my file highlights:
Applied in Aug, 2012
PPR received in Nov, 2012
Status - Application and Medicals received

My visa is expected in Jan/Feb 2013 based on the trend on this blog and the xls sheet.

Well, I was thinking if we all could meet up in our respective cities and chat over coffee

It would be awesome if all of us at some point (once we get our visas) reconnect in Canada too.

Hi waiting... can you discuss some breiflines of ur interview... also what all did u bring with you in docs... also who is the sponsor in ur case?? Did u both appear for the interview??? Ur answers will help us a lot... thanks in advance

Hi Cal2Can!

Our Interview went well. My spouse was also with me during the interview. Though we'd carried some more documents instead of which we had sent earlier but VO did not look on those. First I was interviewed with some basic question of our relationship and all. We had more than enough evidences sent along with the application like we had travel a lot around the world before and after marriage. The main reason of having an interview that we were married in USA there was not an Hindu rituals beause we wanted our marriage to be unique and in USA or UK. ;D

AFter 15-20 mins of interview, VO called my partner inside the cabin. In 99% cases NDVO took interview individually but because we had an enough evidences, VO called my partner in my presence and asked few questions and told us that our application has been approved and I would get my passport in about 2 months time. It is because I have a long travel History

Please don't get nervous while Interview some VO repeated the same question again and again

Please advise whether your sponsor has left for Canada.If not, mention the date when he intends to leave for Canada : I am Canadian and living with my spouse since marriage.I intend to travel with my spouse after she gets her COPR.They are asking for a date and I dont know the date yet.......PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW IF I NEED TO ADD ANYTHING MORE OR HOW TO ANSWER THIS QUERY....

hi one question didnt u send enough pictures with application i mean how many pictures u send initially .? i think make a cover letter and explain them that u want to travel with ur wife as soon as she gets her visa

I sent around 60 pics with the application of engagement,marriage and reception but I forget to include the Signing pics in front of Kazi completely.Also they are asking for post marriage pics in the letter....I already did cover letter explaining them that we both will be traveling together.Do you think should i need to add anymore to this question.

When you applied did you mention whether you were in Canada or India? If you were in India, did you indicate when you will return to Canada?
