New Delhi - 2012 applicants

As everyone in this forum knows very well that each applicant is having his own timeline due to different case, like travel historys, criminal records, fradulent documents or produced not enough documents and many more reason that you and all of us can't imagine, so they wait for background reports from other agencies so this takes little bit time for assessment and the next file which they refer makes them satisfy for their early approval due to straight forward case so this is how some files get skipped and takes a time for decision made and also someone previously posted few things which may be causing our files to take sometime to get approved; 1- they have to be comfortable that the marriage is legit, 2- medical is in good order and 3- most likely the delay for approval is due to the intelligence report they have to get in addition to the police report and from what I found out this depends on the officer who has to sign the request and typically where the outlet neck is caused. This is not in the NDVO control. As well, NDVO does not have a target number of applications per year "quota" however they are currently looking to complete certain files prior to year end, I.e. file numbers before a certain number. F000xxxxx that number".

i jus hope that our cases r among the ones who r supposed to get visas before the year end... n also i think most f the cases here r st frwrd only.. so may b background checks r taking time then... but all we can do is speculate... n wait !!

Hmm.. to be precise, can we share just 3 digits after F000..
Like if anyone has F000128XXX he can add to his Timeline F000128..
This will give us all idea of the number of applicants..

Lets amend all timelines to include file number. My timeline was posted in a previous form. File number f000118. Pls add me to the tracker. I told my boss about the delay and my company is looking to sending me to India for a month on an assignment/transfer hopefully before Xmas holidays and New Years.

Its similar like " you are asking someone the credit card number and again asking the 3 digits on the backside of it " Hahahaahah ;D ;D ;D

even they are also getting visas" I mean to say is if the right time comes then every one will get visa just the difference is some get early

I don't think CIC would allot the file numbers in sequences. because file numbers usually starts with F(Family)000xxxxxx that means if one has F000118XXX for 19th April 2012 application and F000112XXX on dated 17/04/12. It is difficult to say that 6000 people applied under Family class with in Two days.

To some point of view it would be agreeable but it can also be that due to high volume of applicant's F000118XXX, F000112XXX and F000128XXX are processed by the different individual Visa officers under same family category then what the reason to give each document a file number and how can they rectify an old and the new application.

Hi everyone,

I am a little concerned because our file still says application received however many others have medicals received showing in their status which I do not see on ecas. This is concerning me as I am thinking they may not have received the medicals which may be delaying the processing.

Please advise if anyone has experienced this and what I should do about this.

We applied on May 30th and since the file transfer to Delhi we have not received any updates other than the PPR in August.

Did you already done your medical test prior to applying (IMM1017) if Yes, Nothing to worry. Wait for couple of days till ecas status changes.

Address changed on Ecas...

Now showing Canadian as current home address and India as current mailing address....

I thank god for stopping my tears and cries....

I checked ecas at 11:50 pm (I am in Canada, Alberta)

A question.......does that mean you have two address on the screen on left and right side??? just curious coz your "In Process" was on 11 Oct and mine was on 30 Oct. So I should also expect something good in next wee.

I cried while talking to my wife in India.. I can eat, drink , walk etc etc and live my life.
Now, God please help me in getting the passport back asap...
