Hey everyone -- any idea how long does back ground check and security check take for ND??
We got our gcms notes -- in which it states that the security check and back ground check not yet started.!
We went In Process on Nov 6th.
Interview was waived in the notes also.
So whats taking NDVO so damm long?? If this dumb trend of delaying all our DM's continues -- I wont be with my husband on our 1st anniversary also...!!! >:( >:( >

I think you are just a few inches now...

Does background check directly relate to In Process status as per the notes ?

Yea thats how the notes look to me and my husband. Cause the background check and In Process were one after the other in the notes. But then again I keep telling myself -- with ND -- anything is possible.

Was it you - who has been In Process for 2 months now? Have you thought of getting yr notes to check whats going on with yr app? why the delay?

I've been reading several pages of this forum during the last two weeks and I am really really worried at the way the visa processing is progressing. Its difdicult to study the trend and come up with some analysis on the processing timelines..

I pray that all of us get our respective DM's soooooooooonnnnnnnn :)
