if its only travel, there will be no delay but work history can take some time to finish background checks. i hope your travel history is not for Canada because it take longer in case of Canada. but its a big relief to get "in process" because it means they have received everything from your side and interview has been waived. it means you dont need to worry any more, they will finish BC/SC and send your PP back with VISA

i found this from early posting ....... that once application goes to " IN PROCESS' it means interview have been waived..... it that true ?????????????? and also i was checking in spreadsheet who ever got their case in process first they never got interview and who ever got interview their case went in process after the interview...


i am not sure any advise ??????

Hey gagan....As your status went into process same day after interview... They will issue you the visa and you will recieve your passport very soon....

Guys!!

As Canadian PM is visiting India next week ... we should not expect lot of status changes during those 7 days.

Hope i am wrong but im sure everyone would be looking after the delegation.

Rule for sponsorship visa are now changed! All of us are lucky. Its getting harder from now on wards to get a spouse visa.

I did send them email two weeks back..but as usual no reply from them....

I am in the same boat. I also have a straightforward case. Mine is 'In Process' since 26th Sept. I do not understand whats going on.

APscorpion, Good that you emailed. We are planning to do it today. At least they will have a look at what we are saying, just in case they have forgotten us. Its getting daunting day by day. I dont get out of the house in normal hours to avoid unnecessary questioning.

First i thought that they just do SC/BC after changing file status to in process....but now i have no idea what exactly they are doing....

My wife has no travel history...still its over a month since our file status went to in process.....
