Anyone flying on 21st, Delhi to Toronto ?

Can you let us know what documents did the immigration officer requested if any apart from passport and COPR ? Also did your wife declared any money/jewellery she brought into Canada ?

mehrotra - she got the B4 and B4a for declaring jewellery and the stuff she's getting into the country. But, the customs officer wasn't very co-operative. My wife got all the pics and stuff for the goods that she's bringing into the country declared on B4 - He didn't even see what's declared in B4. All he wanted to see were pictures for goods to follow which my wife didn't have (she just declared goods to follow on B4a without any pics) So, he said unless he sees any photos of the goods to follow, he can't allow them into the country next time. Guess she got an officer who just showed his life's frustration on her. Apart from the declaration stuff, everything else went fine.

Thanks. By goods to follow you mean the items you shipped separately?

For my case, I am planning to tell my wife not to declare anything as the total worth would not be over 10k$.

Not shipped separately, the ones she wanted to carry into the country when she comes in again.
And total worth has nothing to do with declaring the stuff. Over 10K declaration rule is only if you are carrying cash.

hello everyone, i got my sponsorship approval today. please update tracking sheet. received email with PDF approval letter.
the delay was due to the fact that one of the form was incomplete and the whole package was returned on sept 24, i resubmitted the forms on Oct 4th.
the file is now transferred to New Delhi VO

I think you are better off not declaring anything if you are not carrying any restricted stuff like plants/nuts/animals etc.

Declaration upfront just raises suspicion and makes things complicated.
