Ohh really? I didnt know that. I thought step 1 is much easier for the citizens. I guess basically they see how well they are settled.
Urs is a straight forward case?

Hope we get the visa sooon..

Regards
Chitra

True, it doesn't matter at all. My husband is canadian citizen and it took almost 100 days to get approval at first stage :( :(

The applicant is Indian (male), and the sponsor is a Canadian citizen (female)

Caips notes are really very informative, I have already ordered one for my case. It tells everything happening with the file.

It is not the typical Delhi case, but is pretty straight forward...we are common-law and inter-racial, so this could be it. We are, however, around the same age, education level, no previous marriages/common-law relationships, and have known each other for 4 years and been in a relationship for 3...There is some travel history to UK (over 1 year) and 3 months Canada, but PCC's were sent for this...In fact, all the documentation has been sent for this! ???

Smvi...we are from Alberta and West Bengal

Any updates for Today??

I think now this week is going to be slow , dont know just my assumption as Monday was a gr8 day....
Let c how its goes..
All d best to all...

This uncertainty is killing me!

On one hand my status is 'In Progress' on the other I still have not received a PPR even after 55 days of sponsorship approval.
I just do not know what this means...!!! Even people who got PPR late had their status change after PPR, not before. I spoke to my consultant and they were like if it goes to 'Decision Made' without PPR, its not a good sign at all!!!

Is there anyone in the forum with a situation similar to this??
If at all there was any sort of mistake in my application, I think they would have contacted me before the status change.
I had my PCC issued in mid April. There is no expiry on it, however from the forum, I gather that the same expires in 6 months (mid October)
Is there any one in the forum, who got calls for interview/more documents/new PCC/any weird thing after the ecas went into process? Please share your experience.

I am glued to my phone, just to be sure not to miss a call from NDVO, just in case I get any.
And thanks to this forum that I am able to just share all this, it would have been so difficult to just think of this on my own.
