Is it like that husbands as applicants from New Delhi get more interviews than wives?

maverick... mine is kind of a similar case. My wife was working US. But, she moved to India recently and I applied from there. The processing times have improved pretty well lately for India. I am not very sure about US.

thanks guys... 4 months and a week to be exact :D. I did spend considerable time to make sure the application is very well organised, so that the documents are logically ordered and available for IO review.
You can take hints from the thread pelipeli started. Her's was extremely well organised.

Hi Kishu,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Awesome speed for your case. I must say !!! 4 Months and a week !!! Great !!

For me too - a straight forward case with no travel history for my wife (the sponsored person), I have lived in the UK for last 8 years and got PR from there, am a landed PR since June 2011, and have applied for my Wife in Early June 2012 via NDVO, got married in December 2011 etc.. etc..... the story goes on !!! You know !!!

And now it's the waiting game for us !!! hmmmmmmm hopefully my wife should hear something very soon ! Fingers crossed !!! Good luck to everybody who are waiting !!!

Regards,

AP.

Address Change question;

I see everyone talking that when address changes on ECAS, it is a good indication - what is it about?

When i login to ecas with my details, it should my address (Canadian). I am the sponsor.
When my wife logs in, it shows her address in India.
Is this good?

And our status is In Process since 3rd Sep 12.

Adi

error on COPR-URGENt HELP Required

Leon,

I am sponsoring my dependent child and there is error on COPR. Name, Date of Birth, Passport No., Citizenship are correct. But at the bottom under sponsor relationship it is listed as "spouse" which is incorrect.

I have contacted CHC at New Delhi through case specific inquiry, FAX (3 times) and sent a letter to them. Even after 15 days there is no reply.

I came across similar problem (please see link below) and CHC in NY advised to correct it at POE as there is no error in Name, DOB or Citizenship

trackitt.com/discussion-forums/provincial-nominees/917024841/error-on-copr-form

Since tickets are booked for the third week October, I am wondering:

Visiting CHC ND and getting it corrected on the spot is a possibility?

What could be other options? PLEASE ADVISE.

My spouse (with our child) is thinking of moving ahead as planned if we don't hear anything from CHC by then.

PLEASE ADVISE. URGENT HELP NEEDED

Good Luck for the Friday Guys.... Share some good news today

Where is my "shining" visa?? ???

I hope it will come soon... :(

It doesn't show anything when she logs on with her last name (kaur) because she doesn't have her last name (sandhu) on her passport. When i log into ecas here it says decision made for the sponsor and application received for the applicant.

my timeline:
app filed:2/5/2012
sponsor approved:27/7/2012
ppr:16/08/2012
