Hi,

You need not pay as u have already paid. This is for those who have not paid.

Keeping updating about the process. Our timeline is little similar. July applicant. When did u receive the passport reqest?

RPRF and landing fees are same. And if you have already paid the fees then you need to send the receipt of fees paid!!

Have recieved the sponsorship approval letter today , issued on 19th sept stating that file has been transferred to new delhi . Waiting for PPR . The letter states for payment of RPPF fee which I think has to be paid by the sponsor and reciept has to be attched with the passport when you send it to new delhi .

Was thinking to pay the same as earlier we had only paid the sponsor applicant fee .
So There are 2 fee to be paid for the whole process. Am I rite ?

Yes,there are two fees that should be paid!! When you get ppr, you are asked to pay landing fees if not paid!!

Thanx a lot for your response ... :)

If the update changes from "Application Received" to "In Progress" does this mean that Interview has been waived or one can still expect interview during the "In Progress" stage.......

hi RGP
there is no minimum financial requirement during landing. in most of the cases, they dont ask anything about finances but even if they do, they will ask only about your accommodation and how are you going to support yourself until you find a job.
you can give them your spouse's address and tell them that s/he is working and i will try to find a job asap to support my family.
NO need to worry ;)

Thanks ashu.
