Today my wife received her passport with visa!!! Guys, don't rely too much on E-CAS. My E-CAS shows IN PROCESS however the visa was issued on 10 September. Finally our journey of wait is over 8)

Manorite, you can ask your spouse if he/she received any registered post yet. Also please update the spreadsheet! Oh wow.. I AM SOOO HAPPYYY!!

Thanks Balkan.. My wife got the registered post delivery at around 2:00 PM in the afternoon. I think the date of shipment was 12th September. She's living in Bangalore, if that's any information.

Now... must... look... for... ticket... deals... 8)

Where is the "your home address", when I login using my wife's client ID, I can only see "Your current mailing address"..

if there is a change in address that is reflected in ecas, would it show on the first page? would it start to appear if they change the home address to Canadian city?

When you login to E-CAS using the applicant's File Number or Client ID, you will find a "CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS" - This will be the complete address in India. Right next to it, you may find the "HOME ADDRESS", which has a partial address in Canada (only city and province). If this is not being shown in your case, maybe they still are working on it- or maybe its not finalized yet. But I'm sure you will find a change here as your timeline is very close to mine. HHiiiii guyssss my hubby got his passport back with the visa thank u very much for the support I wish everybody get their visas and anotheer thing don't take ecas update seriously my ecas still shows apps received visa was issued on 10 sep shipped on 12 sep and on 12 sep they add canadian address on the ecas so guys don't worry. If ur canadian address has been updated that's mean ur PP is on ur way once again thanks a lotsssssssssssssss gud luck everybody

Congrates.pls confirm did they send the post by speed post or recorded delivery or normal delivery? Did you sign in order to receive the post?

Dear Friends

I am a canadian PR and am planning to get married on 30th october 2012 and am planning to leave by 14th November 2012 to Canada to sponsor my wife. But the only thing I am unaware is about the minimum monthly earning required to file an application as you may know that jobs are not easily available in Canada and initially I would be doing only part time general labour jobs and that for few days in a week as this work is usually on call given by the agents. Also I would like to know when can I file an application, can I file immediately after getting a job or is there any wait period?

what all shall I carry with me to Canada for putting an application for my wife and the duration of entire process by officers in Canada and NDVO.

I hope someone is going to reply in detail. thanks friends

does any body know whats the procedure to request your passport back from delhi office as they have my passport since feb and they not even replying my emails and my mla told me that she can contact them unless the application is within the processing times any help would be great please help me guys

My wife got her passport back by registered post at 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon, and she had to sign to obtain it. Yes, we got back our pictures- but ND is not consistent in sending it back. I think some members didn't get back their photographs.
