@ parthpatel204....my husbnad got PPR on sept 1...he was going to send his passport but lawyer in india told him that now there is a new rule that passport have to have spouse's name on it otherwise they are going to return your passport..than i consult our lawyer here in canada and he said the same thing...just check with your lawyer before you send your passport.... :)

I dnt think we need to do this and i have not seen any information as of now regarding this or else when they ask for passport if it is so than they will ask to do that first before sending passport. this is just what i think.

Just wait for 1 more week you will get it for sure......

thanks for your reply Krmartin. I must say one thing this forum and all the members here are amazing. I get lots of information from this forum everytime. Regarding my case going on at New Delhi VO, there is no information on CIC website and i had no clue that how much time it takes to get sponsorship approval after aor and in how much time we get PPR request from New Delhi. This forum is great.

Thanks all..

We werent asked to but voluntarily provided more pictures and evidence of communication (Facebook, voip, messenger etc.) in a binder along with our passport (after ppr).

If you look through the topics under Family here on this forum, there are quite a few folks who were asked to provide more picture and documents. You can read a few of those posts up to see if there is a reason why..good luck.

Dear OZONE, I also sent phone bills of 50 pages and remittances details with passport just to provide ample information about proof of relationship. I have attached a covering letter too.

What do u think about my case?

thx.

Hey Rahulcd, congrats on the PPR. Thats good going

We got our approval on Aug 13th, but we are still awaiting the PPR. It will be 30 days today. I am getting really concerned here. Is there anyone who has got PPR this late. Should I be concerned about our application? I have seen from the forum that the average time to get PPR is around 20days. All this time I was under the impression that my case was straight forward (first marriage, no travel history etc) but this really gets me worried. Also, our approval came from Ottawa. wonder if that has any role to play here.

HI! Mumble,

I think its just up and down of few days nothing out of the way. You will be getting your ppr in this week for sure. And i think there are different people dealing with so many cases so may be some are fast and some are slow. We never know but just hope for the best. You see some people applied in june and already got sponsorship approval mails even, so not to worry. This immigration process is really too much, so many steps till the final destination. I really hate word waiting and to wait now..

When New Delhi Office sends the request for Passport, on whose Email id they will send the email...mine or my wife's who I am sponsoring.......

Usually it takes 2-4 weeks to get PPR but in some cases thy ask for PP at very end moment when they are ready to stamp Visa.

In my case, I am the sponsor for my wife and acting as her representative therefore i have recieved PPR request email even. SO if you do not have any representative so PPR email goes to applicant in India. And i think when they return back the passport they use Indian address only as they say in ppr letter even.

On Applicant's Email Address. Eg: if you are sponsoring your wife then your wife will get it bcz you are sponsor and your wife is applicant.
