New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I believe the CHC ND has started working on the stage 2 for the First week of April month applications..

I guess they should be fast in processing because after the March 31st, everyone should have used the new electronic forms..

this could make the works of officers easier who are working on the files and give us Visa's soon...

Ppr was on june 18
Till now my status on ecas was application received.
Suddenly it got changed to DECISION MADE on 30th august without going into in process. Is there something i should worry about and it has been 5 days after my staus got changed to DM and yet i havent received my passport back, am wondering have they already mailed it.

Congrats man !! You got DM !! Now just wait for PP. You will get it within a day or 2 days ...

Hope so buddy because i really got worried as the application didn go in process and directly DM showed up. How much time is taken for the passport to be received after Decision is made??

Hi All,

Question regarding processing time. Current time on Canada Immigration Website for India New Delhi office is shown to be 66 days (Sponser approval) + 9 months (assessment of person sponsered) .

that adds upto around 11 months. My question is, does it really takes that much time to process applications. or if its for a rare case. Please share your views as I have to decide my marriage date accordingly. Please include how much time it showed at ur time and how much time it actually took for u to get ur passport in hand with visa on it.

Dear Friends,
In July'2012 I have recd. the mail from CIC New Delhi, in this mail CIC New Delhi mentions that "In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:" 1. Medical, 2. Passport and 3. Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee. All the docs. I have submit to cic in August and they have encase the DD in the end of August'2012

After this they haven't mail me and on line status is "Medical Report have been Recd." Anybody have any idea about the next step of the CIC and how much will take time by CIC New Delhi for issuing the Visa

Hello friend !! After your file is transfered to New Delhi Vis Office, it takes around 3 months if your case is straight forward, means if officers find your relationship geuine.overall processing time may be assumed 6 months. Hope it helps.

It has the timelines of applicants in New Delhi in this year. So you can have an idea of how much time it would take. There is no definite limit, and if your case is straight forward then you can expect faster processing. But again, you can never speculate these things.

Dont worry arpit, i am on the same boat as well..

Dnt count Sat and Sunday as business days, they usually stamp the passport on the very same day when they start processing your file.

Aug 30th was Thursday, so you should get it back by wednesday or thursday.
