why it took so long in your case. Any specific reason..plz share..

I'm not sure why, maybe because they made me do my medicals/PCC twice because they expired.
Plus I'm an Indian married to a Canadian man so they probably took more time to investigate because it is not an arranged.
That's my guess anyway, but who knows the real reason.

We never contacted MP, we were just waiting all through.

Big big congratulation all the 6 people who got DM today morning. NDVO may issue DM like today every week. This week they have shown their real calibour..... Good work

I wish all the forum members get DM very soon....... Lesser than i had wait.

Harry, Punjabi Kudi, Manorite and others having same timeline, i wish you people get DM this weekend only as i can understand your feeling and see your desperation.

As said by aman it may be from midnight to Morning 5. I strongly feel that e cas updation work was alloted to CIC-M (Canada). But not sure.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 19, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 28, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I think as I had visitor visa also which was valid till Jan 2013 helped in speedy process... Wish u all the very
best. All Mar applicants be ready; maximum will get DM by sat/sun

I got my decision made ;D I got the good news today. will see hubby soon.

Some of you have asked me what questions were asked during telephonic interview

1) I am a christian and my husband a hindu. they asked us if I changed my religion prior to performing hindu marriage.

2) under what marriage act we got our marriage registered under.

3)where did we get married

4) send further proof about marriage registration documents (including application to register) to immigration.
