Yes, I had sent a request when inital PPR came, that I could not submit my passport then as I live and work outside India. And my request was accepted and I receive an email fron ND VO that I would get another PPR at the final stage of the application process. However, they wrote that waiting for a second passport request will delay the completion of processing of my application.

This is my case.

DID they reply u anything earlier about your request of submitting the PP at the last stage?

How do you apply for notes? My wife is in Mumbai and missed a call from Delhi. I am assuming it is from New Delhi Office as she does not know anyone in Delhi. Can you let me know how can you apply for notes so that I can find out how to contact them if required.

Also, if anybody received a call from VO, wanted to ask if the number was this or similar to this....+911402630642?

Its not ND VO's no. Since +91 is india's code and 11 is New Delhi's code and your wife got call from 14 so dont worry.

I have received an email from NO Office.

"We have received the requested information/documents and your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly. "

What does this mean. Is my application in the inital review or final review? Guys, please help.

to my knowledge they have reached the final stages of your application.. get ready to get your visa soon....they might ask u to come and get the visa stamped or advice you to send the passport... it depends...

For visa stamping, guess I might need to travel India and courier my Passport to ND VO.

to my knowledge they have reached the final stages of your application.. get ready to get your visa soon....they might ask u to come and get the visa stamped or advice you to send the passport... it depends...

Guys, I have two questions:

1. Can anyone please tell me what this could mean : "your file is waiting review from senior officer" ...
Is this different from initial review ? Can it be a final stage when the file is with senior official with everything finished ?

2. When we order GCMS notes, around what date the notes are generated ?
I mean it takes 30 day to receive the notes. So, do they generate the notes towards the end of this period or somewhere in the middle ?
Those who ordered their notes, can you guys please check this date ?

I'll really appreciate your inputs... ....

Here is my timeline: applied on 12th March, 2012, sponsorship approved on 27th June, 2012 and got PPR dated 4th July, 2012

1* yes i think its final review. did you get this reply from MP, what did they say about eligibility and background checks?? if checks are finished, your process is almost over now.
2* they generate notes after 1 week of sending application via email. i sent an email with application forms for GCMS notes on june 17th and my notes were generated on june 25th and i received my notes in a 36 pages pdf file in an email on july 18th (after exact 30 days)
