Hi jassonu..

I got a call from ND visa office....they told me to submit my passport asap. The VO also sent a quick email asking to send only the passport...The email was not the regular PPR email that everyone was getting. She send the email to let me know where to send the passport to...
MY ecas is still showing Application Received..... The VO didn't ask anything else...just told to mail the passport....Any updates for u?

freind.....i also got a call from ND VO for PPR on 13 aug. but i dont get any email from them.......
but my ecas shows went to "in process" since 2 aug 2012......

i expect interview my case is remarriage but they didn't ask me nything only ask me to submit PP.
nd also some people says once status went to "in process", it means interview wud be waived, i'l get directly DM. only cic knows wat they wil do......
M in india, my wife is in canada now. our relationship is 100% genuine....
wat u say.....?

in that case, you need to wait for AOR or sponsorship approval email to receive UCI number

I had my interview on June 13 2012 and that's when the VO handed back my passport and asked me to redo my meds/Police certificate and send everything back as a package together with my passport. I sent the required docs with my passport on July 7. It's been over a month and don't understand what's taking them so long ? The interview lasted for about 3 mins and the VO told me that it's a pretty straight forward case. Usually they say it takes 2 or 3 weeks max for stamping the passport. The anticipation is killing me. My husband and I have not seen eachother for a year now !!

Do u think speedy approval in stage first can delay the process in second stage???!

Do we need to send in original education documents along with the application ??
The check list does not ask for it. But would the VO ask for it in later stage ???

If we do need to send educational docs, does it have to be originals or photocopy ??

You.dont have.to send any educational stuff with your app..just fill out the details in the forum and that's about it...

I just got DM over past weekend..and it only shows applicant's indian address... I expect it to change/update along with Sponsor's address in Canada....I am hoping that the changes will reflect pretty soon on ECAS

When did you came to know about the phone interview? I mean in case of interview (usually waived in 98% cases) when they let you know about the interview and how this is communicated to you/

on my ECAS .....under home address, my wife's caanada address shows....
nd under mailing address, my immigration consultant address (canada) shows

wen it will change to my local (indian) address.......
