I think I am the only Jan applicant who hasn't got the visa. It just says "Application received". Am so fed up!

I agree, totally fed up with this system... I really wish CIC would provide more info

ohh really, i thought i was last one. you were not on forum any more for last few months, i thought you have received your visa and joined your spouse already. you will jump direct from Application received to DM, hope you receive your passport back soon.

Whizbee! You should do an MP inquiry and order notes right away if you have not done so already.

What is your case? Did you pay RPRF later? Or with application? That is the only thing I think that is causing delay for me. My application is straight forward....don't know what those idiots are waiting for!

ashu - Congrats! I can see you got your visa. When you leaving for Canada?

lalatata - I did! Unfortunately, the MP's assistant is a bimbo. She gives me absolutely no information every-time we contact her. At the start of the month we contacted her and she said our application was "processing". My husband asked when they started processing it and she says 19th Jan. Duh! She has no clue what is going on...she doesn't even know what a Bring Forward Date means. Don't know when this nightmare will end! Anyhoo, congrats on getting your visa. Have a great life ahead.

Thanks alot! But does that also mean that sending the PP via friend isn't that good an option? My concern is waiting too much. I hope its only a matter of few weeks and not months. As I need to be in India in the first week of December. So I'm in a fix right now. :'(

If fadil80 is still active on the thread, he could let you know how it worked out for him because he was working overseas and asked Delhi to delay PPR until they were ready for visa issuance. His overall process ended up taking a fair bit longer, e.g., we had sent in our original applications on the same day but my husband's visa was issued end of June because we didn't delay the passport submission. So try to find out from him how long it actually took; that's at least one person's direct evidence to consider. If fadil80 isn't here anymore, maybe you could do a search on his name to find his last posts.

Updated to add: I was curious so searched myself - as far as I can tell, fadil still hadn't received the 2nd PPR as of mid-July.

you need to get PCC for each country, where you lived more than 6 months. state means,if you lived somewhere, where they have different rules and regulations in each states (maybe if you lived in canada and USA but there you can get FBI clearance )

Thanks for your Reply....

I am from India and never go to any foreign country before.... My confusion is with States of India.
Whether I need to take PCC from al States like Haryana, Punjab, Delhi etc

Congratulations abbyss !!!
