I hear you... It is sad that there is no acknowledgement of any sort from CIC which leaves everyone clueless - Oh well! Good to know about the 30 day rule and the visa cancellation. My wife is waiting for her PP too... Let's hope all goes well for everyone. Cheers.

You know its just very tempting to walk to my MP office as its opposite my home and I get to see it every time i do grocery and what not.. Its like I know I can just walk in and ASK to find out .. WHAT IS GOING ON LOL but then I stop and say may be some other time! Its almost like I just wanna go to the MP cause its always in front of my eyes..

Someone told me that status in ecas changes to "In process" after they verify the relationship between sponsor and sponsored person. I am wondering in case someone is sponsoring the dependent child how they are going to verify the relationship. We have submitted the Birth certificate (which includes both the names of the parents) and also passport also has the same thing and then some photograph of the baby with her mother (who is also PR) is it enough?

When did you get the passport request for your child . I got it on 11th May. Ecas status still showing Application Received

Does anyone know if they send PPR via registered post or regular post???

I really applaud your patience! You have been here cheering everyone and working on that spreadsheet while waiting for the darn PPR. I truly hope when you get the PPR, your case should fly by ND VO like a breeze!

On my end, nothing after the PPR but its only been 9 days, I am trying to just bury myself at work so I don't overthink and get stressed. My wife has enrolled in some extra curricular classes (IT, cooking etc). to pass time and keep busy. This forum has been really good, not just to share information but also to vent frustration...!!

If the Applicant (Sponsored Spouse) provided an e-mail address on the application form, then in most cases, the PPR comes through email. There will be a PDF attachment titled - AOR (Name of the Applicant). Chances of lost in transit are quite slim so don't worry too much. Its been 12 days. You might get it in the next 1-2 weeks.

I got a message from my Lawyer yesterday, that he has received an email for PPR....

What is the exact ND VO address to send the Passport .. how long does DHL takes to deliver the PP's to ND VO?

any better courier service providers than DHL?

to my knowledge your visa is approved and soon you will get ur PP back with the Visa stamp...

Congratulations. As a process they are first updating applicant's address and then e cas change to Decision Made and in few days passport is dispached. I think u will receive pp in 2 weeks. Have a good time ahead.
