Hi when I login with UCI then It shows we got ur application to sponsor on 29 may 2012.we started processing on ur application on 6 July 2012...we sent an email on 10 July ....,,.,,,,,.,,.does it mean they sent my application to Delhi on 6 July or 10 July?????

Hey Guys,

Can anyone give me some advice or answer on the following question -

Current Status - I filed for my wife already but have not received AOR/sponsorship approval yet.

My is currently in India and would like to travel with her parents to Saudi (Makkah, for pilgrimage) sometime in 1st week of August. Is she able to do so? or would there be any impact on her PR processing when her file reaches New Delhi & she has to send her passport and they see she has traveled recently?

What would be the implications if any? What are the legal rules & regulations in such a case?

Appreciate any one who can provide some insight / advice.

Thanks! :)

Hi fadil80,

But by now our files should have got transferred to the New Delhi VO right?

Hi Thomas_Saint ,

You should wait for your file to be transferred to Delhi and then send it as you already got your AOR and your file will be transferred anytime soon now..

Hello guys,
Just wanted to know all those applicants who send their PP in June does anyone see "IN Process" on their Ecas.
Mine still shows "Application Received". I'm bit worried. :o

You should get a Marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriages just in case they want you to submit it. The certificate you have from the Church might be accepted or may not.

i think your turn will come in coming week for DM

good luck

Hi lalatata,

thanks for your inputs.. :)

Looking for some advice - what is the maximum physical cash in rupees or US dollars that can be brought out of India when leaving for immigration purposes? What's the best way to bring funds into Canada? If you do an electronic bank transfer, how do you minimize the fees for the transaction and currency conversion?

Thanks.

Thanks for everybody's wishes.
OK.. this might be a stupid question, but when I booked my wife's ticket via cheaptickets dot com, they did not put her middle name on the e-ticket. Her passport has her middle name though. First and Last name is correct on the ticket. Is this an issue?

Nope I just got my tickets as I am flying to visit my hubby in October and mine etickets only has mine First and last name....
Even though the travel agent had my passport for the booking its not a biggy....

Well, you may go for traveller's check or currency card from well known bank ..
Electronic transfer cost you more..
