i am not sure how there system works but its not the same for everyone that is one thing about them that bugs me.

i mean some get there PPR mailed and some get the request online..

O well, as long as you receive under a month you should be ok buddy..

Guyz, i am sure a letter has been mailed and should get to you before Friday.

its taking somewhere around 20-30 dayz to get PPR while the actual letter is dated 14 dayz after the file got transfer to New delhi, so not to worry, just be excited.

Thanks, Jot1988. By any chance, did you decide to submit a copy of your PR landing fee payment receipt and a copy of the original PCC along with the passport?

To be honest I only sent my passport but I mentioned in a separate sheet that landing fee and pcc are already submitted.

After a DM showed up on my wife's E-CAS on July 9, they have updated the address to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan under "Current Home Address" today. I am hoping the passport comes soon, so I can book her ticket.

I know its tooooo early to post this but I didn't get any confirmation from CIC.
I know they have mentioned 93 days for assessment but I wanna know that will there be no confirmation by that time??

What are the next steps in this process?

Medical Done June 1st 2012
File Sent July 7th 2012
File Delivered 9th June 2012

You are added to the spreadsheet. You will not get any confirmation from CIC-M about application received. Check with ur courier service to make sure that ur pacakage was received. You will have to wait approximately for 93 days before you hear anything from CIC-M. sometimes they send AOR with ur file number and sometimes they approve your sponsorship without sending the AOR. It's quite random. At time point you jut have to wait for your turn....

Dear All,

I applied for Permanent Residence Visa in Jan 2012 under Family Class Sponsorship. My Visa Office is in New Delhi and received my PPR in April 2012. As I am working and residing in UAE,if I were to submit my passport at that time, I would put my job at stake. Because of this circumstance, I requested Visa Office to let me submit my Passport at the final review stage. Fortunately, they did agree but I was informed that the process may take a little longer. So, I was interested in knowing if there were anyone who has info. about the approximate waiting period for "Second PPR".

I am a little concerned at this stage. Any help would be appreciated.
