Strangely enough, her file hasn't gone in process like it has for others who have recently received PPRs. Oh well, maybe it takes some time to update eCas.

It looks now that my file is gone in the loop of waiting after changing to In Process....I see applicants who are waiting since 3-4 months with In Process and I saw applicants in the month of February whose In Process changed to DM within 3-4 days after going into In Process...I was expecting the same but its been now 2 weeks and I dont know when it changes to DM...Good luck to all

Alrite frds .... here is somethin I got today ...had sent an enquiry knowing the status on my file on 21st jan and below is the response I got today from NDVO


Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.


We acknowledge that our office has received your original passport(s) for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing.

This file is currently pending review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as that review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants if any further documentation or information is required.

Please note that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. Rest assured that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant or authorized representative, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

Yup. Got the same email 2 weeks back. It's so vague. 'Pending review by responsible processing team' is what it says and at the same time our MP came back to us saying we'll hear back by 24th Feb.

Don't worry. You'll get through this.

Has anyone had their interview and then have their medical expire before ndvo sends the passport. It's been over a month since my interview and no visa yet even though I passed.

Not one but many ... If ur medical expires they will ask u to do re medicals .

When is ur medicals expiring ?

I have cleared my interview in Aug , and still waiting . Got my re medicals last month . Still no reply .

Helloo everyone,
I just received my GCMS notes.
Under the correspondences section, there are 2 outgoing correspondences from CIC.
The first one was my AOR which I received on Sep 1. It says "email" under the "via" heading.
The second one states that they requested my final passport on OCt 12, 2012. the "via" heading is blank. However, I received no such correspondence from them.
In the comments from the vo, it says that file is reviewed and is ready to issue visa as soon as criminality is passed which was passed on Oct 10, 2012.

Can anyone please help me out? I had sent New Delhi VO an enquiry about my status update on Feb 9. No reply yet.
Can I copy paste this GCMS notes info to them?
As per these notes, I could have had my visa issues by November as my file had completed and passed all reviews by October 12, 2012. Please advise.
