Hello Friends,

I have couple questions regarding applying for Visitor Visa for my wife. I have already applied for her Sponsorship application for Canada last year December 2012, and her application has already been approved and sent to New Delhi, India on December 17th, 2012. My question is while the application is in process I would like to apply for Visitor Visa mean while for my wife. Can someone please tell me what needs to be written on the letter which I need to submit and what else do I need to submit along with the letter.
Also, if I apply for visitor visa for my wife while her Sponsorship application is in process. My question is that it won't delay her Sponsorship application..?

If someone can please guide me ASAP. That be really great.. Thanks so much in advance!!! God Bless You All!

Hello.. If her application has already reached Delhi then the chances are that they will be asking for her passport shortly.. So it might be a waste of time for you to apply for a visit visa now.. And yes, it might delay the process if she stays in Canada for say 4 months.... Also, they might hesitate in granting it as they are aware that her intentions to stay in Canada is for more than just a holiday...
But keep in mind this is just my opinion...

Hey guys !!!

Hope this coming week gets good news for many :)

Did you and your friend go through a lawyer? I'm wondering if people who do take longer...?
286 days fits their current timeline.. My lawyer keeps reminding me that the website states that it will take 9 months to PR... Which I think is ridiculous!

Yes both of us did go thru lawyers.

Well if speedy visas didnt include MP enquiry it doesn't necessarily mean that the MP enquiry will delay. From other threads I have seen a couple of applicants from other countries also enquire thru MP. The problem is that NDVO is the only VO to keep passports for this long. 6 months for some people! It's ridiculous! It seriously puts a strain on the applicant's life. Worse still for those who may have to travel for work.

I have seen some other members get their application 'moving' after enquiring thru MP. One example is KP0789 who got his DM last month I think.

Also NDVO is one of the largest VOs in the world. Not too sure about whether there few officers working there. Unlikely. But I have no concrete evidence for either case.

Also our email enquiry was answered after about 2 months. My enquiry in December is still unanswered. Our MP has in fact advised us to get back in touch if we don't hear from NDVO.

But like you said, the officers are after all human. I trust them to act professionally. But I don't know any VOs personally. :'(

Anyway, congrats on your DM. Hope you get your PP quickly!

I dont know what is going with NDVO yaar. I just shared what I experienced. Before I even planned to pull back the passport but then some members over here advised me not to do so.

Anyway will pray that you get speedy visa. God is above all these powers. May He be your peace. :)

Every case/application is different in their own way. Do not expect anything like other applicants. Few people can get their visas in less than 4 months and some has to wait longer than any expectation. Do not compare each others cases or dates of anything. You'll only be disappointed. Just have faith and pray for your own thing. It's a matter of luck in some cases.

I agree with you Nizami. Each and every case is different. It also depend on the complexity of our application and the documents we submitted to make them convince that its a genuine marriage. Mine is a love marriage and wife is from Philippines. We had submitted pics before our marriage with family and friends and a short novel too :) Apart from the formal application forms we need to add as much as stuff we have to convince them..Even small things like the bill of the ring you got for her etc....

Have faith in Lord and may He open a way for you....Having a lot of peace during this wait is crucial and none can comfort us than the God Himself.

Hey smallworld I would like to ask you one thing that did you apply for visitors visa once and got refused in between when your spousal sponsorship was in progress.
