Received today passport with visa from NDVO.
It took 4 days short of 6 months from date we filed our application at Mississauga office.

Our time lines are:
Application Filed: 22-Aug-2012
Sponsorship Approval: 09-Oct-2012
Passport Request: 31-Oct-2012
Decision Made: 12-Feb-2013
Visa and Passport Received from NDVO: 18-Feb-2013
Destination: Toronto

Mostly 70% to 80% of female applicants are approved by CIC with in short periods and referring to spread sheet for 2012 male applicants are long processed or either called up for an interview before or after medical expiry and then approved or denied visa, this is really a gender discrimination going on in New Delhi visa office.

Veere 8 mahine ho gaye aa apply kite nu and passport bheje nu 4.5 months..

Yaar bande ne kite hor v jaana hunda, eh ki matlab banda ki kise da Passport rakh ke baithe raho aine mahine..

Hello everybody!

My husband called an hour ago after coming out of his interview...WE ARE APPROOOOOVED!!!


I am shaking so badly! We applied on March 6 2012 and FINALLY we are approved!

We just have to redo his medicals (expired january 12) and redo his nepal PCC, no problem. No problems at all! So freaking happy I could explode!

After all the things we thought were huge complications in our case (inter-racial, different religions, visa-overstay in past, non-traditional wedding without either parents or other relatives present and other little things) and still they saw we are truly in a love marriage!

Thank goodness for the intelligence of the ND visa officers!


Now just to do the budget to afford his flight here...and buy him all his winter clothes! He'll arrive most likely when there's still snow on the ground!

Thanks for the support of everyone on this forum for the past year, this forum has been a never ending fountain of information for us during this whole process.

We can start our lives now! No more living in fear! We can finally start our family!!! Ahhh....

FINALLY DECISION MADE AFTER A LONG LONG WAITING TIME. THE ECAS WAS DOWN FOR 10 DAYS AND JUST YESTERDAY ECAS CHANGED INTO IN PROCESS BOTH FOR SPONSORSHIP AND PR APPLICAITON. JUST AFTER 2 HOURS, THE WHOLE PROCCESS CHANGED INTO DECISION MADE. JUST EXPECTING PASSPORT SHORTLY AND SHE WILL BE HERE WITH ME
